Victoria Beckham Talks About Her Fashion Background

Victoria Beckham might be an award-winning fashion designer right now, but the gorgeous Brit wasn’t too sure of herself in the past.

In fact, she was a bit embarrassed about not having a fashion background.

Posh reveals that during a dinner with Marc Jacobs years ago she felt embarrassed when he found out she was doing a line. She adds:

"We went out to dinner one night, and he said, 'I saw that you put out a collection.' I felt embarrassed to tell Marc Jacobs that I - me, ex-Spice Girl, married to a footballer - was creating a fashion line."

And all of this hard work isn’t to prove anything to anyone, but to prove to herself that she could do it.

Victoria adds:

"People say to me, 'Oh you've proved yourself to everybody…' But that was never why I did this. I had a lot to prove to myself. I'm proud of myself. I'm proud of my team.
I have to say I was not expecting to win and I was quite overwhelmed.
