Target Vultures Speak! Say They Bought Entire Jason Wu Collection For Charity

The Florida couple who bought out the entire Jason Wu for Target collection have come out of hiding to defend their actions earlier this month and their explanation is pretty shocking.

Kevin Wills told a Miami newspaper that contrary to popular belief he's not selling the clothes on eBay (which isn't exactly true, check out his eBay page here), but rather at a charity event benefiting Dress for Success.

As he so eloquently put it: "I like doing charity stuff. I like going to the ghetto and passing stuff out of my car." Wills also said he was really upset by the way other shoppers reacted and "didn't want to appease them by telling them that what I was doing was for charity."

So on March 4th Kevin, who goes by DJ Midas in da clubs, will be holding the Wu There It Is benefit at Miami's The Stage nightclub and to prove it's legit he made fliers of himself laying in bed with all his Wu swag.

Classy.

Here are the rest of the deets:

​After purchasing a $10 entrance ticket each participant will be entered into a raffle to win one of 14 Jason Wu for Target scarfs. If $5,000 is raised before the event, the rest of the clothing will be donated directly to Dress for Success. If not, event goers will be able to shop the collection. Pieces will sell for sticker price plus tax, but shoppers are expected to make an additional charitable donation.

Umm so what are they going to do with the $5000? Are they going to donate that too? Or are they going to pocket that money since to make up for the fact that they shelled out $5300 to buy the clothes?

We certainly hope they're doing this out of the goodness of their own hearts, but it doesn't exactly sound like it.
