They may have seen a 13% decline in the 3rd quarter, but that's not stopping their plans for littering the world with their super expensive tracksuits!
Juicy Couture has made plans to set-up shop in 4 different airports around the world including: American Airlines terminal at Miami International Airport, The British Airways terminal at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Taiwan TaoYuan International Airport’s Terminal II and Athens Airport Duty-Free area.
Kind of random spots, no?
Juicy's SVP of Global Licensing Ellen Rodriguez explains the new venture saying: "We know that our customer is traveling and she’s in the airports. Women are always wearing our tracksuits, especially to travel in. We just don’t think she’s being targeted by other retailers in these airports, so there’s a real opportunity there for us."
So if they're already wearing a tracksuit why would they go and dump another $200+ on a tracksuit at the airport?
