We were expecting more of a WOW factor from Alicia Keys, but sadly we weren't impressed by this dress.
Sure, we LOVE the way her black Azzedine Alaia Couture gown hugs her curves, but it's just too safe for an event like the Billboard Music Awards!

Alicia Keys completely missed the mark at Saturday night's White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Vibe's cover girl stepped on to the red carpet in a Diane von Furstenberg dress that made Sofia Vergara's look formal.
This dress had no business being on Alicia or at the event and neither do those tights.

Alicia Keys and her pompadour are looking fierce on the cover of Vibe magazine's April/May issue.
Besides looking flawless on the front cover, the songstress says she's the happiest she's ever been.
Alicia explains to the mag:
"I think I always figured I was happy. What’s not to be happy about? I have a great life and can do things I only dreamed of, and go places I only imagined in my mind, and that seemed like happiness to me. But I didn’t actually know happiness until recently."
And we’re happy for her! Seems like she’s really come full-circle both in her personal life and career, and it shows!

There was no shortage of star power at Yves Saint Laurent on Monday night.
Celebrities including Salma Hayek, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys and Rosario Dawson packed the front row to catch Stefano Pilati's final collection as creative director before making his exit.
As for what they were wearing, each lady showed off their own unique style.
Katy opted for an army green YSL jacquard dress and leather motorcycle jacket, Salma donned a black and tan leather trench, Alicia kept warm in a lush white fur coat worn over a black top and pants, and Rosario kept it simple with a black trench and dress.
