The "Empire State Of Mind" singer is goes in for a closeup on Giant magazine's January issue.
Inside Alicia Keys poses pretty for an in depth photo shoot and while it is a nice spread, it's nothing spectacular.
We'd love to see her do something edgy and out of her comfort zone!
Maybe next time.

She really likes that color doesn't she?
Alicia Keys was literally covered in blue at the AMAs Sunday night. We wouldn't have minded the dress if she left the blue eyeshadow and those electric blue heels at home, but unfortunately she didn't.
And the hairstyle just makes the 28 year old singer look older than she really is.
Nice try Alicia. Better luck next time.

We recently told you about Alicia Keys first of many new business ventures would be a jewelry line partnership. And even though her designs won't be launching until 2010, she's still lending her support to create buzz at an upcoming pop-up event.
We're sure having a new album coming out in December has something to do with it!
On November 23rd and 24th the singer will be debuting the current jewelry line with The Barber's Daughters with a "jewelry experience" event at the Collette Blanchard Gallery in New York City gallery. Those who attend the event will have the opportunity to purchase the hand-crafted jewelry that's inscribed with inspirational messages or place a custom order.
Alicia and Barber's Daughter founder Gisele Theriault will be launching the first collaborative jewels in 2010.
What do U think of the Barber's Daughter pieces???

Alicia Keys will soon be launching her own company, AK Worldwide, which won't have anything to do with her music.
Her first plan of action will be handcrafted jewelry engraved with messages of hope from a line she's calling The Barber's Daughters.
We're innerested to see what she comes up with!

Vanity Fair's best dressed list has been announced and notably absent is Angelina Jolie. Her main man Brad Pitt made the list for the third year in a row.
President Barack Obama made the list for the first time and Michelle Obama made her third appearance on the list.
Also new on the list: Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, Alicia Keys, Kelly Ripa.
Why no Angie?? She always looks fab, but if you remember, in recent years Ange had done a lot more press than she has this year, so we think it's probably due to lack of exposure, not lack of style.
Vanity Fair's September Issue hits stands on August 11.
