Glamour's October Cover Stars Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys are on the cover of Glamour's October issue to plug their new project for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

All three of the mega-stars directed a short film for Lifetime called Five. The 2 hour series focuses on women and breast cancer and shows how it affects women’s lives, families and friendships.

Here's what each lady had to say about their film:

Jennifer Aniston on Mia:

"We want people to walk away with hope and information but feel incredibly entertained. Cancer affects all of us, whether you’re a daughter, mother, sister, friend, coworker, doctor, patient. These films touch on that reality. The film I directed is called Mia, and it’s about a woman who takes her diagnosis as a death sentence and gives up—only to discover she’s gone into remission. We want people to know it is very possible to conquer breast cancer."

Demi Moore on Charlotte, a little girl who watches her mother die of breast cancer and becomes determined to help others with the disease:

"I’ve known people affected by breast cancer, and since I finished the project, someone in our family has also been diagnosed. But I think that so often there is that “out of sight, out of mind” feeling, like breast cancer is happening to other people, not you. Before this project came up, even I really didn’t want to pay attention. I feel that this came to me to make me pay attention. What I’ve learned from all the work Ashton and I do is that we so often don’t address any cause with enough urgency."

Alicia Keys on Lili, a 35-year-old whose breast cancer forces her to work through her relationship with her mother

"I felt like this was something important, and I wanted to be a part of it. I chose Lili because she’s close to my age and I understood the family dynamic. I had an immediate idea of what I could bring to it."

Sounds like some powerful stuff!

Katie Holmes Wants To Dress Adele, Alicia Keys, And Duchess Catherine!

Katie Holmes has revealed that she would love to see Adele, Alicia Keys, and even Kate Middleton wear some of the clothes from her new Holmes & Yang collection, which she created with Heather McQuarrie and Jeanne Yang!

She explains:

"We love Adele. Alicia Keys. There are women, from rock stars to heads of state, who we'd love to dress - but I love hearing moms, teachers, anyone love our clothes. But, here in England, we love Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. I'd love to dress her. We love Ingrid Bergman, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly. So we went back and said, 'What was it about those pieces that made them memorable?' 'Was it the highlighted slim waist, or the shape of the skirt?' And when you go back you realize you were looking at the woman, not the clothes."

Even with that kind of inspiration, that's a pretty ambitious potential clientele list!

Here's hoping she has the designs to back it up!

So far, there's been very little that has REALLY impressed us, and she's been at this for almost two years!

Bruno Mars Channels His Inner Guido

Like Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars kept it monochromatic on the BET Awards astro turf carpet yesterday afternoon.

The crooner went for a classic look with a hint of geek-chic in Dolce & Gabbana and thick-rimmed glasses.

To complete his look, Mr. Mars added some Jersey Shore flair by styling his fluffy coif a la DJ Pauly D, but less bullet proof.

How Not To Wear A Sheer Top With Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys accidentally revealed her slimming secret at the BET Awards on Sunday afternoon.

The songstress was sporting a Dolce & Gabbana ensemble complete with crazy crotch pants, but the major fashion faux pas was her sheer top!

Between the sun and flashbulbs we can totally see she's wearing high waisted Spanx underneath it.

Don't get us wrong, there's nothing wrong with that, but the whole point of wearing shapewear is to keep it on the DL.
