If you tuned in to catch new ANTM judge Andre Leon Talley, you were probably disappointed since TyTy made it a two part premiere (which BTW, no one even bother to tell Andre he wouldn't be on the first part, nice going Tyrannosaurus.)
But to make up for that, Andre recently sat down to talk about anything and everything including squashing that nasty rumor of him riding an elephant.
Here are some highlights from the Vogue editor at large's interview:
On Anna Wintour watching the show:
Oh no, Anna doesn't look at television. Maybe tennis. Just tennis…I don't think she's a television-watcher. I've been to her home many times and I've never seen her watch the TV.
On fitting in on the judging panel:
No! I love Tyra. It's like coming home.
On whether or not "dreckitude" will become the new 'it' word:
We will see! I don't know. I can't gauge these things. This is all new to me.
On riding the rumors of riding an elephant:
Oh no, no, no, no, no! I love the rumor, but it's not true. I went to see an elephant in a zoo and we bonded. Tyra and I spent an afternoon with an elephant. But we by no means rode the elephant. I love the idea that people think I'm riding elephants on the show. That's cool.
On the lack of diversity on the runway:
Oh, but Diane Von Furstenberg did her duty! Half her show was black models. That was one of the great shows. You know, it's never going to go back to what it was. We will always make them aware. There is always going to be an awareness about that. I don't think that is a fair criticism of that, because in all the shows there was lots of diversity.
One thing's for sure Tyra sure did leave everyone chomping at the bit to see ALT.
Are U excited for ALT's debut???

So he may not have said those words exactly, but it's close enough.
New ANTM judge Andre Leon Talley thinks contestants on the show need to stop with the excuses. Andre explains:
I just don’t think they should make excuses. They should take notes and say ‘thank you.’ That’s what I did. In my day you didn’t speak until spoken to. You are the student. We are the teachers.
But when would Tyra get to yell and go cray-cray on them?
And for those of you who will be tuning in, which we think you should especially since Perezzers is going to be on the premiere episode, smize is no longer the buzz word.
ALT coined a new word "dreckitude". He defines it as "the lowest point in the lowest ebb. It could be your look. It could be your shoes. It could be that you’re standing wrong. Drek is a total, total, total hot mess."
Loves it!

The September Issue will be out on DVD on Tuesday and will be chalk full of unseen footage, like this one.
Anna Wintour and Andre Leon Talley are talking to the visibly scared Chloe designer Paulo Melim Andersson before his show starts.
We would be freaked out too if we were talking to them!
But what's more surprising is that Anna smiles and makes a funny!
Watch the HIGHlarious deleted scene in the clip above!
Will U be buying The Septermber Issue???

Where do we start?
Both Andre Leon Talley and Pat Field were spotted looking like a hot mess express after the Ralph Lauren fashion show.
Vogue's editor at large wore a high fashion version of those tacky bikini and 6 pack ab t-shirts that tourists pick up while vacationing at the beach.
You're not fooling anyone with those painted on abs of steel, Andre. We all know what's going on underneath that tent.
And then there's Pat. It's hard to imagine that this is the person responsible for styling the ladies of Sex and the City.
Maybe she should take her own advice!

Runway diva extraordinaire Miss J Alexander is already talking deets about the fashion friendly battles that went down him and between new judge Andre Leon Talley.
Miss J says of the judge who took his seat on the judging panel:
"Battling André Leon Talley now on the show with us has been quite interesting. You know, we both have that knowledge that most people don’t understand. André’s verbiage is absolutely insane. He’ll explain a dress, and the dress is explained in a way that no one understands it."
Sounds like there's going to be some new words that will be joining Tyra Banks' "smize".
Miss J also jabs at the elder judge saying Andre "has a little more fashion-history verbiage just because he's a little bit older."
Me-ow!
But of course the rivalry is friendly and seeing as they only worked together once during the entire season the fashion face-offs will be at a minimum.
J adds they "feed off each other's wants and needs, but that's my sister and I love him to death. That's my big older black sister."
Your move, ALT.
