The ban has been lifted!
After almost 2 years of waiting, Anna Wintour's finally agreed to let Rihanna grace the cover of her magazine.
RiRi was supposed to get the cover spot back in 2009, but the editor-in-chief nixed the idea after those nude pictures leaked.
Now that all's been forgotten, the Only Girl In The World tweeted on Wednesday:
"Just wrapped my first American Vogue cover shoot with Annie Leibovitz…Rah! #SEXY"
Rumor has it Rihanna will be fronting the April or May issue.

The folks over at Vanity Fair are none to pleased with photographer Annie Leibovitz' most recent photo shoot.
It all went down last week when Annie was in London shooting January's cover boy Johnny Depp.
Apparently the cash-strapped photog was so set on her own "vision", she completely disregarded what VF's editor Graydon Carter had in mind. She also made it difficult for the mag's fashion director Jessica Diehl to add her input as well.
A source divulged:
"Annie is headstrong and has 'her vision' of what a shoot should be, and didn't agree with Jessica who was there to implement Graydon's vision."
Vanity Fair didn't deny Annie's on set behavior, only that they were "delighted with the photos".
Guess that's all that matters in the end, right?

Candie's has just released behind the scenes footage of Britney Spears' spring campaign.
The clip not only shows BritBrit posing for celeb photographers Terry Richardson, Annie Leibovitz and Mark Seliger, but also all the work that went into the three different shoots.

Earlier this year we mentioned how Bono might be appearing in ads for Louis Vuitton as they partly own Bono’s eco-friendly company Edun.
And it seems the rumors were true.
Appearing with his wife, Ali Hewson, Bono is featured in the new Louis Vuitton Core Values ad.
And no, they aren’t wearing Louis Vuitton clothing, instead Bono and Ali are each wearing clothes from their Edun line.
Edun, which was started in 2005, helps encourage trade with Africa and has a mission to rid the country of poverty.
The image, shot by Annie Leibovitz, shows the couple landing in a remote area of South Africa with the tagline reading “Every journey began in Africa.”
Louis Vuitton’s director of communications, Antoine Arnault, reveals, “When they go to Africa, they don’t go to see the beautiful landscapes: They’re there to help people. Theirs is a for-profit company.”

True Blood hottie Alexander Skarsgard is now hawking suits for Hickey Freeman.
The sexy Swede will appear in the fall campaign, which was shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz, as part of the label's image overhaul.
Hickey Freeman's creative director Joseph Abboud explains:
"We want to attract the younger and younger-thinking customer. Hickey Freeman was much more traditional under the old regime. It lacked sex appeal."
