UGG Australia Wins $686 Million From Websites Selling Fakes

UGG Australia has scored another mayjah victory in their ongoing battle with online retailers selling fUGGs!

A judge recently awarded Deckers Outdoor Corp. $686 million from two lawsuits filed against more than 3,000 China-based websites hawking the counterfeit UGG products.

The funds were seized through hundreds of financial accounts held by the counterfeit sites, including PayPal, which is a big deal in and of itself since it's nearly impossible to collect from overseas merchants.

Judge Ronald Guzman also granted Deckers a permanent injunction against the fake domains, meaning they can fire off notices of contempt to defendants via email if they find they're conducting shady business elsewhere on the net.

You've been warned fUGG sellers!

Smell Like An Apple Product? Yep, There's A Fragrance For That

Filed Under: Wacky, Tacky & True Australiastic Tech Talk Fragranz!

apple-mac-product-fragrance.jpg

Finally!

Three Australian designers known as Greatest Hits have concocted a fragrance that smells like brand new Apple products.

So what, pray tell, does a fresh out of the box MacBook or iPhone smell like?

According to Air Aroma, the company who helped create the geeky scent, it:

"…encompasses the smell of the plastic wrap covering the box, printed ink on the cardboard, the smell of paper and plastic components within the box and of course the aluminum laptop which has come straight from the factory where it was assembled in China."

That sounds terrible.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), the fragrance was only produced for the Greatest Hits' De facto Standard exhibit in Melbourne and will not be for sale.

Shucks.

Rihanna Keeps It Simple In Sydney

No frills here!

Rihanna let her attitude do the talking at the Sydney premiere of Battleship on Tuesday night.

The 24 year old werked the red carpet in a simple black Stella McCartney jumpsuit and Anna Wintour's favorite style of Manolo Blahnik sandals.

It's a little on the boring side, especially for RiRi, but we her hair and makeup are flawless!

What do U think of Rihanna's latest Battleship look???

Brooklyn Decker Is Shiny Down Under

Filed Under: Film Flickers Fashion Smashion Australiastic Brooklyn Decker J Mendel

Brooklyn Decker was in Sydney on Tuesday night for the Aussie premiere of Battleship.

The model slash actress walked the red carpet with co-star Taylor Kitsch in a black, white and gold long-sleeve J Mendel dress and stick straight hair.

The runway version had cutouts instead of the black lining and we wish she left it like that!

The modifications give the dress a more mature look and zero sex appeal, which is a shame because Brooklyn has a hot body!

Thoughts???
