Move over Ken! There's a new guy in town and his name is Darren.
Mattel has come out with a new doll created by Barbie designer Stacey McBride-Irby. The African-American mother says she was inspired by the original iconic doll and wanted her dolls to "inspire girls to play, create and live out their dreams!"
Darren brings his swagger to the Barbie world thanks to his personal stylist Jay-Z who dressed him in Rocawear. And it looks like he's sporting a nice watch too!
In addition to dressing well, D also does well in geography and sports.
Brains, good fashion sense and a jock? Ken's got some steep competition!
No word if he costs less than the other male dolls.

After getting made over by Christian Louboutin, Barbie and Ken are traveling back in time to the 1960's and getting made into the characters of AMC's Mad Men.
The iconic doll duo will take on the look of Don and Betty Draper and his colleague at the Sterling Cooper agency Roger Sterling and office manager Joan Holloway.
The Mad Men Barbie's will be released in July to promote the upcoming season of the popular series, with each retailing for $80.
Unfortunately if you do buy one of the 7,000 to 10,000 of each doll produced you'll have to accessorize them yourself because they aren't including cigarettes or martini glasses.
Will U be buying a set???

What are they trying to say?
A Louisiana Walmart is charging less for a Ballerina Theresa doll than a Ballerina Barbie doll.
After the picture started popping up on the internet the retail giant was forced to explain the price difference, saying it's "to prepare for Spring inventory, a number of items are marked for clearance."
In an effort to cover their assets, Walmart spokeswoman Melissa O'Brien says:
"Both are great dolls. The red price sticker indicates that this particular doll was on clearance when the photo was taken, and though both dolls were priced the same to start, one was marked down due to its lower sales to hopefully increase purchase from customers."
But critics are still outraged with the so called "sale tactic" pricing.
Executive Director Thelma Dye of the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem says: "The implication of the lowering of the price is that's devaluing the black doll. While it's clear that's not what was intended, sometimes these things have collateral damage
And others agree. Lisa Wade, a sociology professor said they could have left the pricing the same to not "reproduce whatever ugly inequalities are out there".

And Christian Louboutin loves his Barbie dolls.
The shoe guru has done it before, with his last Barbie doll collection, Cat-Burglar Barbie, selling out in one day.
So now Louboutin has created his second limited edition barbie doll series.
This time around, Barbie is sporting Louboutin's knee-high fringed boots set in a safari theme.
Says the designer, "Barbie is an icon; how could I resist such a collaboration?"
The Dolly Forever safari Barby will go on sale next month.
Will U be getting one?
