GaGaloo Loves Her Make-Up

Filed Under: Beauty Buzz Pamela Anderson Boy George Lady GaGa

This shouldn't come as surprise but Lady GaGa has always had an obsession with make-up.

The new face of MAC's Viva Glam cosmetics reveals in a new interview that her love of beauty products began when she was still a school girl:

"When I was young, I felt like a freak in school - and I had to put my make up on when I got home before I went to bed because I wasn't allowed to wear make-up in school. When I walked around the corner and saw Boy George in the window of a MAC store, I said, 'I feel just like that!' Why is that attitude nowhere else? And RuPaul, and Pamela Anderson. I said, 'Gosh, I feel just like that. That's why I think MAC is so important; they cater to that inside of you that feels like a freak sometimes, that wants to raise your freak flag."

Now that Gagaloo is behind the campaign, we're sure make-up loving little monsters will be flocking to MAC stores to unleash their inner freak.

Boy George Dishes On B-Rude

Filed Under: Boy George Collection's Bureau

You may not have thought about his career for a while, but Boy George is not fading into obscurity.

Getting back in touch with his creative side, he's recently found newfound happiness with his clothing line, B-Rude, which he describes as "mostly our printed and bejeweld apparel."

In fact, he "recently just made some one-off stuff for the delightful Debbie Harry for her recent tour, which was both a thrill and seriously cool. And we also dressed Kylie Minogue for the finale of her last worldwide tour," he says.

Despite the celebrity fan base, stars are not who he aims to dress: he divulges that "we don't target the kind of people who wear money, you know, those that would kill to have the latest designer handbag. We are more for the disenfranchised. We have a punk attitude, I guess."

Good for him! We can't wait to see his new designs, and glad that the once-troubled musician (who is releasing a new album in the near future), is enjoying some success!
