Channel Your Inner Kelly Kapowski By Flashing Some Belly

Summer is right around the corner, which means it's time to bust out the short shorts and belly-baring tops!

Luckily for our CoColicious readers, Fashion Star's Daniel Musto is here to make sure you look ab fab rather than absolutely tacky.

The midriff has had a hiatus since Britney wasn't a girl, nor a woman. In recent months I've seen a few belly buttons coming out to say hi in the pop music world. Although this trend comes in waves, we can thank the man-eating Kelly Kapowski from Saved by the Bell for its creation.

The question is, "How do I show my mid drift without coming off as a hussy?" With Kelly as our inspiration, and me being the messenger, I will inform you that adding a cropped jacket is the way to go. Paired with a cropped top, a cropped jacket will cover your shoulders and arms, which sucks the "streetwalker" out of your look.

Last month, I mentioned floral denim. A floral top under a solid jacket screams SPRING! A cropped denim jacket can also be fun, especially if you chopped it yourself.

So gear up, get dressed, and swing by the Max for a milkshake. AC Slater is waiting with a chauvinistic remark about your outfit.

Jessica Simpson Flaunts Her Baby Bump In The Nude For Elle

Like Demi Moore and Britney Spears before her, a glowing and very pregnant Jessica Simpson is baring (almost) all on the cover of Elle.

In the April issue of Elle, Jessica confirms she's having a baby girl and is already worried her little one will be asking for Nikes instead of Louboutins:

"Ah swear, ah will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins! Eric is so athletic. We’re gonna have this ath-a-letic girl and I won’t even be able to take her shopping."

It's OK Jess, Louboutin sells sneakers too!

Britney Spears Settles Perfume Lawsuit!!

Brit Settles Lawsuit

FINALLY!

Britney Spears has agreed to just pay a settlement in the what seemed to be a never-ending perfume lawsuit.

Here's a little recap:

Britney was being sued by Brand Sense Partners, who claimed to connect her with Elizabeth Arden to front her Radiance perfume. In the agreement, Brand Sense was supposed to get 35% of Brit's profits.

That's when things get a little shady. According to Brand Sense, Brit and her Dad then decided to get into a secret deal with Elizabeth Arden directly — cutting them out.

The exact sum isn't revealed, but, let's just say that it was commissions for a period of years, in addition to a lump sum.

And let's be honest that it's probably pocket change, because gurl is filthy rich!!

Ha!
