The Aussie looked smokin' hot in a red Armani Prive Spring 2011 peplum dress and matching red heels.

She's not even a teenager yet and Willow Smith is already considered a fashion icon, at least to Derek Lam.
The American designer told Vogue:
"Naturally talented, charismatic, unblemished optimism, with the whole wide world open to her possibilities and abilities. I think she is the future-forward American icon."

When Cate Blanchett stepped on to the red carpet at the Oscars this year in a lilac Givenchy Haute Couture gown people either loved it or hated it.
But for those that thought the latter, Cate could care less.
She told InStyle:
"If people get it, they get it. If they don’t, then it doesn’t matter. There are so few houses that can afford to do couture, and since the red carpet is such a wonderful showcase, we should be celebrating that."
Good point!
As for her favorite part of the dress, the Aussie gushed:
"The color combination, I couldn’t believe it when I saw it in real life. I was tempted to wear it two ways, because if you take the top part off, it’s a really simple halter dress underneath. I thought the external piece was so unusual."
We agree, but in the best way possible.

The fearless dresser had jaws dropping in a lilac Givenchy Haute Couture silk chiffon gown that was embroidered with leather pearls and crystals.

Cate Blanchett looked absolutely gorgeous at the Set In Style event celebrating the jewelry of Van Cleef & Arpels Wednesday night.
For the New York event, the 41 year old wore a simple black Balenciaga cap sleeve v-neck gown.
We like how Cate went for a minimalistic look so her jewelry would be the main focus.
