We knew it!
Despite Monday's rumor that Karl Lagerfeld would be announcing his successor very soon, Chanel has quickly put it to rest with the following statement:
Please note that Karl Lagerfeld is the Creative Designer of CHANEL and has a long-term contract with the company. Replacing him is not an issue.
And there you have it!

Perhaps this explains why she wore Chanel Couture to the Oscars.
Diane Kruger ditches the ruffles and frills for something a little less feminine in the latest April edition of Vogue Germany.
Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, Diane poses in different suits and hats for the pretty black and white spread.
She pulls off the androgynous look A LOT better than Nicole Kidman did.
What do U think of the spread???

Could it really be happening?
According to Grazia Australia, there's about to be an announcement that will rock the fashion world in the next few days.
But what could it be?
They speculate that Unkle Karl could be announcing his successor at Chanel. The fashion world has been whispering for some time now that it will be Lanvin's Alber Elbaz.
Wait a minute!
Didn't Karl say back in November he had no plans of retiring soon since he believes the fashion house will still need him until he's 89!?
For now, we'll take this rumor as a grain of salt and wait for the so called mayjah announcement.

By now, you've probably watched and re-watched the epicness that is the Telephone music video. And like we said before, it was definitely a fashion eyegasm!
Here's a frame by frame break down of who Lady GaGa and Beyonce were wearing:

Jean-Charles De Castelbajac appears again, this time on Beyonce who is wearing both a jacket and shoes made by the designer. The denim booty shorts are also made by Franc Fernandez & Oscar Olima.
GaGa's spotted kitty cat jumpsuit was custom made by the Haus of GaGa.
In the final scene Beyonce and Lady GaGa are wearing cowboy hat and outfits by Emilie Pirlot.
Wow.
Amazing!
Which look did U like best???

We don't think Karl Lagerfeld understands the concept of global warming.
The Chanel designer put on quite the production at the Fall 2010 fashion show in Paris on Tuesday.
The models were dressed as if they were preparing for a nuclear winter as they strutted their stuff down the watery runway drenched in sometimes head to toe faux fur.
And this season it looks like Karl's bringing back those furry Sasquatch knee high boots that cheap go-go dancers wear while trying to make a buck.
The pièce de résistance of the entire show wasn't the fashion, but rather the background the designs walked in front of. Lagerfeld had a 265-ton 'berg imported from Sweden! Because really, what isn't a show without a giant iceberg!?
Karl may be krazy with a 'k', but he sure does know how to put on a show!
What do U think of the collection???
