Almost everyone had something to say about Charlize Theron's Oscar dress designed by John Galliano.
You know the one with strategically placed roses on her chesticles?
However, the usually fashionable actress is defending her choice, saying "I just loved this dress!"
She must not be looking into the same mirror as the rest of the world.

Charlize Theron, what were you thinking?!
While we commend you for not following the trend of gold, we can't help but hate this chest-centric gown!
Why did you feel the need to frost those cupcakes? Would have been much better without it!

The lovely Charlize Theron is Elle Canada's February cover girl, and we just love it.
Shot by Alexi Lubomirski, the South African queen glows. We love the color they put her in! Warms up her skin in a really beautiful way.
In the article, Charlize is quoted as saying, "Women are under so much pressure! I'm not surprised we all become part of this beauty race."
If it's a race, we think you're winning!
Stunning.

Since 2009 marks the end of a decade, everyone's been making lists of the best and worst of anything and everything that happened during the past 10 years.
This time, fashion mag InStyle has compiled a list of the 100 Best Dresses of the Decade.
That's a whole lotta dresses!
Here are their top 5:
1.Kate Hudson at the 75th Annual Academy Awards in Versace, 2003
2.Anne Hathaway at the 81st Annual Academy Awards in Armani Prive, 2009
3.Charlize Theron at the 72nd Annual Academy Awards in Vera Wang, 2000
4.Eva Mendes at 68th Annual Golden Globes in Dior, 2009
5.Penelope Cruz at the 79th Annual Academy Awards in Atelier Versace, 2007
Hmm. Not sure we'd make the same choices, but all the ladies do look lovely!

One thing we really love about Charlize Theron is all the work she does to benefit her native land South Africa.
As you might recall, not long ago the blond beauty designed tee shirts to benefit her organization, The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which works to improve the health, social development, and education of South African youth.
Now, Charlize has teamed with do-gooder shoe company, TOMS, to create a pair of slip-on men and women's sneakers with an African baobab tree on the toe. As we're sure you know by now, for every pair of TOMS purchased, a pair is given to someone in need globally. In addition to the shoes given for each purchase, 10,000 pairs will be given to impoverished children in South Africa.
Charlize said, "I'm thrilled to have TOMS Shoes as a partner. We are so grateful for their generous donation of shoes to the students we work with. It's exciting that we're able to come together in such a cool and creative way to bring attention to the needs of many South African youth."
The adorable and karma-boosting kicks are available exclusively at TOMSshoes.com for an affordable $54, in black and coral.
They'd make a great holiday gift!
