Chloe Sevigny Goes Mod In A Mirrored Miu Miu

Filed Under: Fashion Smashion Chloe Sevigny Red Carpet Miu Miu Met Gala

Is she trying to channel Edie Sedgwick?

Chloe Sevigny donned a '60s inspired mirrored mini Miu Miu dress that left little to the imagination.

Yes to the mod inspiration, but this dress is really only hiding her necessary body parts! Ha!

Too bad she can't hide those sparkly ankle booties on her feet! What was she thinking??

This is definitely Chloe's avant-garde look!

"I don’t like to wear much makeup. And I feel much more secure and comfortable when I do it myself. There have been times when it’s been done for me, and I’ve ended up looking like a transvestite."

-Actress and fashion designer Chloë Sevigny to NY Times on wearing makeup.

Katy Perry's Teen Vogue Cover Is On Point!

Filed Under: Fashion Smashion Kelly Osbourne Chloe Sevigny Katy Perry Agyness Deyn Spread 'Em Zac Posen Vogue Daphne Guinness

katy-perry-teen-vogue-may-2012-cover.jpg

Teen Vogue is continuing the blue cover theme by featuring a blue-haired Katy Perry on the cover of their May issue.

If the pointy shoulder dress looks familiar that's probably because Katy's good friend Kelly Osbourne wore the same Zac Posen frock to the Golden Globes this year.

During her interview with the mag, the Part of Me singer talked all things fashion and fame.

Here are some HIGHlights:

On fashion:

"I don't like to take fashion too seriously. I love it, and I am so grateful when big brands want to associate with me, but mostly I just want to take chances and have fun and truly live. And sometimes that means wearing some ridiculous, cat-inspired outfit rather than whatever happens to be in this season."

On her style influences:

"I love Agyness Deyn, Chloë Sevigny, Daphne Guinness, Natalie Wood, Judy Jetson, and Wonder Woman."

On always having a quirky sense of style:

"It probably started when I was nine years old, and my father used to wake me up at seven every Saturday morning to take me to garage sales. I couldn't afford the clothes that the other girls at school were wearing, so instead I looked for things that were unique to me."

On fame:

"I'm tired of being famous already! But I'm not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do. It's quite a delicate creature— it's a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you."

Amen sista!

Be sure to check out the rest of Katy's spread in the gallery (below)!

Claire Danes Makes A Bold Choice For The Girls

Filed Under: Fashion Smashion Claire Danes Chloe Sevigny Red Carpet Christian Louboutin

It was the battle of the prints at the Girls premiere in New York City last night!

Like Chloe Sevigny, Claire Danes showed up in a bold print dress by Preen and simple Christian Louboutin heels.

They're both pretty jarring prints, but at least Chloe's wasn't that bad once she stepped off the red carpet.

What do U think???

Chloe Sevigny Tries To Blend In With Her Surroundings

Filed Under: Fashion Smashion Chloe Sevigny Red Carpet Proenza Schouler Opening Ceremony

Chloe Sevigny is such a fashion chameleon!

Last night the actress slash designer made an appearance at the premiere of HBO's Girls wearing a damask print Opening Ceremony dress that was practically identical to the step and repeat.

Seriously, if it was a lighter shade of blue Chloe would have looked like a floating head. Ha!

Miz Sevigny finished off her camouflage ensemble with the same Opening Ceremony chain boots she wore earlier this week and a Proenza Schouler clutch.
