Christina's really come a long way from playing Roberta Martin in Now & Then, hasn't she?

More Images From Christina Ricci's Manhattan Cover

Filed Under: Exclusives! Christina Ricci Spread 'Em Giambattista Valli

christina-ricci-on-covor-of-manhattan-mag.jpg

Gorgeous! The lovely Christina Ricci is on the September/October 2011 cover of Manhattan magazine.

And CocoPerez is glad to share some of those images from the spread.

Photographed by Warwick Saint, Ricci shows off a sexy, yet classy side of herself.

The 31-year-old (we still can’t believe she’s over 30!) looks stunning in her Giambattista Balli dress with ruffle detailing.

As for some of the highlights:

On her childhood roles:
“I loved playing the roles that I did as a child. I’ve always been quite happy with the identity they’ve given me as long as people don’t take that too literally. I think they gave me a great depth of position as an actress from which to start my adult career.”

On acting on Broadway’s Time Stands Still:
“When I was younger I had really bad stage fright, and when I got older, I kinda forgot about having stage fright and was more open to doing plays. I felt less scared, but I’m still really scared. I felt less crippled than I have in the past.”

On acting with Robert Pattinson in Bel Ami:
“He’s great; he’s really an awesome guy. I had a lot of fun working with him. He’s so professional. He comes to set with no expectations or attitude. None of those things you worry someone of his level of fame is going to have.”

Christina Ricci Goes Back To The 60s For Nylon

Filed Under: Christina Ricci Givenchy Spread 'Em Nylon Riccardo Tisci

christina-ricci-nylon-magazine-september-issue-2011-cover.jpg

Christina Ricci is on the cover of Nylon magazine's September issue channeling 60s mod era in a Moschino top and zigzag sequin briefs.

The September issue is also the TV issue, which is fitting since Christina is the star of ABC's new show Pan Am.

Speaking of Pan Am, Ricci dishes to the mag about her retro wardrobe for the show and well as all things fashion.

Here are some HIGHlights:

On Givenchy's creative director Riccardo Tisci:

"I love Riccardo Tisci, he's been amazing over the years, really supportive — really good to me."

On tailoring and knowing what works for her petite frame:

"When you're as short as me, you kind of have to. And you kind of know [your] propotions. I spend so much time in fittings and looking in the mirror, so at a certain point you kind of become aware of what works on your body."

On the fashion of her new show Pan Am:

"You know it's a lot of fun to be able to dress up like that, but picture today, in this heat, you have to put fucking nylons on every day of your life. And the way they did their hair…today is such a luxury to get to throw a little dress on. I was looking at myself on my way out the door and I was like, 'Your underwear is showing, but you don't have any time. Leave.' If this was the 60s, I wouldn't be able to do that."

Are U liking Christina's retro spread???
