Back in 2010, Cindy Crawford told Rachel Ray that she was hoping to keep daughter Kaia Gerber out of the modeling industry, and that the then 8-year-old thought that modeling didn't require "special skills"
Well what a difference two years can make!
Cindy AND Kaia have since had a change of heart, and we couldn't be any happier!
We think her mini me daughter looked absolutely stunning in her modeling debut for Young Versace and apparently so did the proud momma!
Here's what Cindy had to say about her daughter's shoot:
“I loved it. I thought she looked great. I was proud of her. I was there when she shot it, so I know what the experience was like for her. She liked it, but she also saw that it’s hard work. When we left the shoot, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to do that again,’ it was like, ‘That was kinda hard!’ The first 10 snaps are really fun and then it’s work. There’s a reason they call it a job. I thought it was a really good introduction for her to understand a little bit what I do. It was a really great experience for her. ”
We're glad that the lil supermodel in training had such a great experience, and can't wait to see more of what's to come!!!

Wearing black skinny jeans, blazer, and flat boots, Cindy brought the ultimate accessory to the event, her hubby Rande Gerber.
Meanwhile, Rande kept it extra casual with his jeans and flannel.

Cindy landed at LAX late Thursday afternoon, and the paps snapped her wearing some basics.
Dark denim jeans for those model legs, basic black boots, a sheer black top, a black bubble vest, and a big black bag all created her street style ensemble.
Just goes to show!! Black doesn't have to be bleh. Just mix it up with different pieces and voila! Style at 30,000 feet in the air!
