In an explosive new book House of Versace, author Deborah Ball reveals that Donatella Versace's good friend Elton John staged an intervention at her daughter Allegra's 18th birthday back in 2004.
A concerned Elton told her assistant that they were "doing nothing but enabling Donatella by protecting her. She's going to die if we don't do something!"
At the time, Donatella was spiraling out of control due to her unhealthy and almost deadly coke addiction. The white pony made the head of the fashion house paranoid, semi-coherent, erratic and her mood swings scared the shiz out of her kids.
How sad!
Two weeks before the much needed intervention, Donatella was so strung out on coke during a dress rehearsal two body guards had to sit on either side of her on the couch to prop her up.
Yikes!
The ghost of Lindsay Lohan's future is also said to have enjoyed going on 3 day blow benders with Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone and (not surprisingly) Courtney Love.
Thankfully, Donatella accepted the rehab hand out and immediately boarded a plane to a treatment facility in Arizona.

Two time Grammy award winner Lady GaGa didn't disappoint at Sunday night's awards.
On the red carpet, Gagaloo wore a gorgeous Armani dress while holding the perfect accessory: a star. But what we can't stop drooling over are those shoes! LOVE!!!
Once werking the carpet, she did a quick change into a green bedazzled, puff sleeve number for her opening act with Elton John.
And finally, The Fame Monster ended the night by slipping back into her rhinestone studded bodysuit and a very deceiving peek-a-boo dress topped with a towering geometric headpiece.
We can't decide which one is our fav, but GaGa definitely killed it on her special night!

Lady GaGa is set to take the stage again during New York Fashion Week next month.
But rather than tickling the ivories for Marc Jacobs, Gagaloo will be performing at amfAR's annual New York gala fundraiser on February 10th.
Another mayjah attendee includes Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, who will be honored at the event.
Sounds like it's going to be THE place to be come February.

Elton John and David Furnish looked sharp this past weekend at the grand opening of their new store Out Of The Closet in London.
Items from the men's personal wardrobes are being sold, with proceeds going toward the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
So cool!

Good news if you live in London!
Starting Saturday December 12th and ending the 19th Elton John and partner David Furnish will be opening up a store in London called "Out of the Closet".
In the pop-up shop, you can browse and buy the performers wardrobe which is said to include some of Elton's stage costumes as well as David's shirts.
Amazing!
And if you do happen to find something you can't live without, not only will you be owning a piece of celebrity fashion, you'll also be raising money for a great cause! All proceeds from the week long event will go to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
Shopping and charity? What a great combination!
