The luxury company is launching a limited edition collection of their famous handbags.
The line of 46 bags has unique features like 17 different material combinations and uses materials such as crocodile, ostrich, and python along with more common items like linen.
We’re sure PETA is thrilled.
The 16 “New York” bags will be on display during New York Fashion Week, with the other bags being displayed during the fashion weeks of their respective cities (London, Milan, and Paris).
The bags start at $1,495 and retail up to $2,795.

The tees cost around $50 and all proceeds will benefit the homelessness charity Centrepoint.

MAC Cosmetics is going to be everywhere during New York Fashion Week.
In addition to doing makeup, MAC will be creating custom nail designs for Zac Posen, Ruffian, Nicholas K., Ohne Titel, and ICB by Prabal Gurung.
The nail art collaboration is a first for the beauty brand, but senior artist Keri Blair says it's an obvious choice:
"Beauty doesn't end at the jaw line — as a team we pay as close attention to the face as the body and nails are just an extension or completion of the entire beauty/color package. We have always had great nail lacquers and now with the incredible nail team we have assembled it should prove to bring additional awareness to another great product in our line up."
MAC is also using this opportunity to hype up the launch of their new permanent shade collection and a super secret new product that's never been done before.

The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network aka GLSEN is teaming up with Elle magazine to bring their anti-bullying message to New York Fashion Week.
The GLSEN Lounge will be open on Feb 12-13 and is designed to raise awareness for GLSEN's upcoming National Day of Silence taking place on April 20, 2012. Students across the country will take a vow of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools.
Fashion designers participating in Fashion Week have come together to sketch their interpretation of GLSEN's Day of Silence and will be on display for public viewing at the GLSEN Fashion lounge.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to sketch a message or design in support of the national student event.
What an amazing event and powerful message!
