Louboutin Starts Fighting Dirty! Attacks YSL In French Newspaper

Let the mudslinging begin!

Christian Louboutin launched a verbal attack against Yves Saint Laurent in France's Libération newspaper last month and he didn't hold back.

In the article titled "Pinault doesn’t care about plagiarizing my red sole", Louboutin believes the fashion house's parent company PPR is being hypocritical:

"I find it most incredible that a group like PPR would take the risk of defending itself as a plagiarist. They claim to fight against counterfeiting and plagiarism of which they are victims and yet behave like this."

YSL's legal eagles were quick to fire back at Louboutin's claims, saying:

"YSL's use of red outsoles is not plagiarism of anyone else’s design. YSL is one of the most celebrated and original fashion houses in the world, and it has been using red outsoles to give life to its own venerated style traditions since long before Louboutin was even designing shoes."

The case went to an appeals judge last month and Louboutin expects a ruling by the summer.

Oh dear.

Elle France has found themselves in the midst of a controversy thanks to Nathalie Dolivo's racist article titled Black Fashion Power.

To make a long story short, Dolivo praises Michelle Obama's chic style and credits FLOTUS for giving the black community a reason to dress up in non-streetwear clothes.

Really.

If you want to get noticed during Paris Fashion Week, creating a 100lb dress will do the job.

During Stephane Rolland’s fashion show yesterday, former supermodel and current bombshell Yasmin Le Bon walked down the runway in a one-of-a-kind gown.

The red, silk jersey dress weighed in at 110lbs and had a train which measured over 145 feet at its longest point.

In fact, the dress was so heavy, Yasmin needed the help of two hottie assistants to get the dress down the catwalk.

What do U think of Rolland’s creation?

Oh, and did we mention Yasmin's 47-years-old? She looks amazing!

Kate Moss Keeps Warm In Her Fur Coat

Filed Under: Kate Moss Fashion Smashion Models Francophilia Fashion Week PETA

kate-moss-out-during-fashion-week.jpg

Kate Moss is a fan of the fur.

We know that, she knows that, and certainly PETA knows that.

So it wasn’t a surprise that Miz Moss was spotted out today in yet another fur coat.

The model was photographed leaving the Ritz hotel during Paris Fashion Week.

Kate was wearing a gray dress which matched her gray coat and some tan (leather?) boots. Last night she was out in a fur vest coat.

As for today, the 38-year-old was later seen grabbing some lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Overall, not a bad look for Kate, but gray on gray? A bit much, no?

Looks like 2012 is starting off well for Christian Louboutin.

The famed shoe designer has just been chosen to create four new tableaux for the Crazy Horse’s nightly Désirs show.

The Crazy Horse, one of the most popular cabarets in Paris, France, has featured many of its topless dancers in Louboutins before.

As for the current work, it’ll be on display from March 5th through May 31st but no further information has yet to be released.

Can't wait to see what they come up with!
