InStyle Gets A New Style Director

It's out with the old, in with the new at InStyle.

The mag has tapped freelance stylist Samira Nasr as their style director.

For a freelancer, Samira has a pretty impressive resume.

Before styling campaigns for Tory Burch, Express and L'Oreal she was a writer at Harper's Bazaar and Grace Coddington's assistant for three years.

Grace Coddington Goes On Display!

Next month, never before seen photos from Grace Coddington's modeling days will be going on display at The Ivy Club in London.

The photos are from the limited edition collection of photographer Willie Christie, who was married to the Vogue creative director from 1974-1978.

Christie says of his ex-wife:

"She was so brilliant as a model because she had an appreciation and understanding of art in all its forms; mimicry; gentleness and serenity. She understood everything that the clothes were trying to do. She became the image. She had then and still has, an absolute passion for all that she does. Photographically - and personally - Grace was everything I was looking for. And she was willing. Lucky me!"

Appointments to see the exhibit can be made from September 16th-19th here.

Grace Coddington's Memoir Is Worth A Million Bucks

So much for that roadblock!

Vogue creative director Grace Coddington has sold her memoir to Random House for $1.2 million.

Jay Fielden was originally slated to co-author Grace's memoir, but has since been replaced with Vogue writer Michael Roberts.

Chanel Gets Catty For Fall

Me-ow!

The first ad from Chanel's fall campaign is out and it's, umm, different?

The ad was styled by Carine Roitfeld and features model Freja Beha Erichsen dressed as a cat. In a photo booth.

Makes sense, right?

Grace Coddington probably thinks this is purr-fect.
