Modeling Hasn't Changed According To Helena Christensen

Cindy Crawford may think the modeling world has changed since the 90s, but not fellow supermodel Helena Christensen.

She told British Vogue:

"I don't feel modelling has changed: everyone else seems to think it has, but it still feels the same to me."

Maybe that's because she hasn't changed much either. Helena looks just as amazing at 43 as she did in her 20s.

Vogue Spain's September issue was dedicated to supermodels so of course they had to feature Claudia Schiffer!

On top of covering the issue with fellow supers Helena Christensen and Eva Herizgova the 41 year old beauty strikes some gorgeous poses wearing pieces from Yves Saint Laurent, DSquared2, DKNY and even her own luxury cashmere.

Love the self-promotion Claudia!

Models Dominate The September Issue Covers

Celebrities got their ass kicked by models in the September issue cover battle.

The US lead the pack with the number of celebrity cover stars (Lea Michele, Beyonce, Kristen Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez), but for the first time in forever Vogue gave their all-important issue to supermodel and newlywed Kate Moss.

Internationally is where the supers really shined:

British Vogue: Freja Beha Erichsen
Vogue Turkey: Natalia Vodianova
Vogue Korea: Arizona Muse
Vogue Spain: Eva Herizgova, Helena Christensen & Claudia Schiffer
Harper's Bazaar Russia: Heidi Klum
Harper's Bazaar Singapore: Cindy Crawford

There's more, but you catch our drift.

It's nice for a change to see models back where they belong, don't cha think???

Dayum girl!

Triumph Essence lingerie tapped Helena Christensen to star in their latest campaign and we can see why — her body looks better than girls half her age!

Yeah she's overly Photoshopped, but those abs are 100% real.

Helena Christensen Took Family Showers?!?

Filed Under: Models Spread 'Em Helena Christensen

helena-reveals-about-family-showers.jpg

We’ve heard of family bonding time, but family shower time? That’s a new one!

In a recent interview with Style magazine, Danish model Helena Christensen opens up about her past, her shyness, and her family.

Christensen reveals:

“I grew up in a very emotional household, in the sense that we expressed exactly how we felt proudly. We were always traveling, even when I was a child, always in some airport sitting on suitcases with my sister, leaning up against one another at 3am in Bangkok. Nothing was ever planned.

My mum would be sitting next to someone she’d just met on the train and the next thing we’d be traveling across the world to meet them. It was total togetherness. We even took family showers. It felt like we did a lot of things together. Was my upbringing normal? Maybe not?”

We've heard of maybe little sisters showering together or little brothers, maybe mom and daughter, and so on, but a whole family shower? Isn't that just…. awkward?

She goes on to add:

"I was shy as a child. My mother would send my to theater group to learn how to express myself more. When I was very little me and my sister were child models but I don’t even remember doing it. For some reason, it didn’t bother me. The shyness was more about people. I’d always be observing rather than involving myself. Very often now, if I’m with a group of people, I end up in the corner.”

What do U think of Helena's family bonding time?
