Mayer vows he will never try to make a buck off his fans, at least with a perfume. Says the human petri dish:
"I've always just been stupidly curious about stuff; I'm not diversifying in terms of selling anything. I'm not selling 'John Mayer: the cologne'. If I did it would just smell like sausage and sleep. I don't look at my fans and think, 'Wow, they really like what I do musically. Imagine if I could get 60 more dollars out of them!' Who out there really goes, 'You know what, I just f**king love perfumes. I always have since I was a kid. If I weren't a pop singer, I'd be a perfumier…' (sic)? At some point I may turn into an a**hole, but right now I just peddle a CD for 15 dollars every two years."
We think you've already achieved a-hole status, but thanks for not assaulting our senses with an eau de John Mayer.

As part of the Second Annual Interfaith Holiday Baking Competition, John Mayer is "sweetening the deal" by giving the winner with the winning cake his ugly moose covered sweater.
John describes the sweater as "infamous" since he wore it on Ellen. And says its perfect for in home cloning since it is covered with his DNA.
That's an inneresting way to put it.
In addition to the HOrrendous sweater, the submission that moves John the most will win its creator(s) 4 tickets (with meet and greet) to any show on the upcoming US tour and a Martin OMJM Signature Series acoustic guitar.

John Mayer opens up his 2500-square-foot apartment in the September issue of Elle Decor, and we have to admit, the man has style!
Although, he can't take all the credit. Mayer designed the pad with the help of Giorgio Armani!
Featuring Andy Warhol artwork, a marble bathtub, and photos of Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis, Mayer's apartment is simple and beautiful.
He says, "After I finally figured out how to behave, and how to dress, I wanted to get the next best thing - my apartment - right. It's the last piece of the style puzzle."
He (and Giorgio) did a good job!
