Julianne Moore Refuses To Go Under The Knife

That's because you're already flawless, dahling!

No, but really, Julianne Moore does have a point when she says that plastic surgery doesn't necessarily make you look younger.

The gorgeous actress spoke against going under the knife, saying:

"My feeling is live and let live. Some of those procedures that make you look younger, I don't know that they really made anybody look younger. I think most of the time they make you look like you've had something done to your face."

Truth! Nothing looks more obvious than a face who's had some bad plastic surgery.

Moore also joked about the benefits of getting older. "The big thing about being 50 is the bar is much lower. People are like, 'Oh my God, you look great!' So that's sort of good," she added.

LOLz! Good point! But, seriously, Julianne, you're absolutely beautiful. AND, you seem to never age, so plastic surgery is the LAST thing you need to worry about.

Yes, Julianne Moore is 50-years-old and yes she does look Ah-May-Zing on the front of the may issue of UK’s InStyle.

On the cover, Moore is wearing a purple number by Tom Ford.

Tom also interviewed her for the accompanying interview where she talks about her career, fashion, motherhood and how she stays looking great at 50.

Julianne reveals:

"I say this to every young person I know. Stay out of the sun! I have very fair skin and it would have been super-damaged. I always wear sunscreen and I walk on the shady side of the street."

What we don’t get is why they recycled the her US InStyle cover from March.

Come on, she’s gorgeous! They couldn’t have taken a few different photos for the UK cover?

Lanvin Keeps It Short For Fall

Filed Under: Fashion Smashion Julianne Moore Fashion Week Lanvin

lanvin-fall-2011-paris-fashion-week-1.jpg

Well this is inneresting.

While most the fall collection have been fur and outerwear heavy, Lanvin wasn't.

A majority of the looks were short dresses with puff sleeves or over-exaggerated collars that have the potential to look fab on the red carpet — so long as they're worn by the right people.

Any guesses as to which look Julianne Moore will don first?

Ha!

Julianne Moore & Tom Ford Take On The BAFTAs

Filed Under: Fashion Smashion Julianne Moore Red Carpet Tom Ford Lanvin Bvlgari

julianne-moore-in-tom-ford-2011-bafta-awards.jpg

We are SO happy Julianne Moore brought Tom Ford as her date to the BAFTAs because that means she didn't wear Lanvin.

Yay!

Instead, Julianne wore a blue velvet strapless dress from Tom's womenswear collection and Bvlgari jewels..

The look is very glamorous, we just wish she went a little lighter with the makeup.

Julianne Moore For Lanvin Talbots

Filed Under: Fashion Smashion Julianne Moore Linda Evangelista Ad Campaigns Bulgari

julianne-moore-talbots-ad-spring-2011.jpg

Linda Evangelista's been given the boot by Talbots and replaced with Julianne Moore for the spring.

Chief creative officer Michael Smaldone says Julianne "exemplifies everything we want as the face of the brand. She’s a very active, beautiful, soulful woman".

We couldn't agree Moore! Ha!

The new ads, which are slowly beginning to surface, were shot in a greenhouse by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott.

If the style of shoot looks familiar, it's probably because Mert & Marcus were the photographers behind Moore's Bulgari campaign.
