Kat Von D Launches Her New Clothing Line

Kat Von D no longer has her TV show, but she now has her own clothing collection.

The collection, which is also available on her site KatVonDLosAngeles.com, features items like coats, shirts, tights, dresses and more.

For Fall 2011 the overall theme was influenced by Love Letters, with Kat revealing:

"Over the years I’ve saved every single letter, note, and card given to me by loves. Reading through them, each one triggers beautiful feelings, some are more melancholic than others, but all beautiful none the less. I thought about my favorite love story of all time, which is the tale of Ludwig van Beethoven's 'Immortal Beloved' - a mystery that even now has never been truly solved. When I put on the "Beethoven" jacket, or the Fur Elise pants, I feel tragically romantic".

As for Kat, she goes on to add on her website:

“The purpose of me creating this clothing line is simply to practice and share what Mom taught me:

Express yourself through your art - whether it’s your drawings in a sketchpad, tattoos on your skin, the shade of your lipstick, or the clothes that you wear.“

We're liking the collection. But the question remains…

The Many Hair Colors Of Kat Von D

Looks like Kat Von D likes to try out different looks as the tattoo artist apparently can’t decide on a hair color she really likes.

Kat has been recently rocking some blue hair but was spotted just this week arriving at the Los Angeles airport with some purple locks.

Hopefully all the hair color changes doesn’t mean she gets bored easily and has a problem with commitment, right Jesse?

As for Kat, she can actually make most colors work on her, but that peroxide blonde look from below should never come back!

Kat Von D Helps You Erase Your Tatts

This is a super smart move and a cool product!

Kat Von D has created a tattoo concealer for Sephora. To hit home the effectiveness of the concealer, the heavily-tattooed mamcita did a photo shoot for her new product with before and after pictures and a behind-the-scenes video.

She says she was inspired by her customers, who often decide to place their tatts based on where they can be concealed for work or special occasions.

She says, "I think just as much as people have the choice to be tattooed, they should also have the choice to look however they want, whenever they want."

She goes on to say that, "we pretty much almost killed ourselves over creating the perfect formula, you know, I really wanted it to be something that was waterproof and wasn't going to get on my clothes…I figured a lot of people, maybe on their wedding day, might want to cover up a little tattoo or something, and you know, the last thing you want to do is get pigment on your white wedding dress."

The difference is amazing!

The tattooed lady is also working on a fragrance for the cosmetics store.
