Mr. Nicole Kidman Is Launching A Fragrance

Country singer Keith Urban aka Nicole Kidman's husband is breaking into the world of celebrity fragrances.

In September Urban will launch his debut scent for men, Phoenix, which is a symbol he can really relate to. Keith explains:

"I’ve always loved symbolism and mythology, the symbolism of the phoenix being something that succumbs to the challenges and burns in the fire, but then is resurrected from the ashes and rises up from the ashes even stronger than before. The ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ story of the phoenix is something else that I think fits really well with a man’s cologne. Certainly, I can relate very strongly to that — going through hard times and coming out the other end of it much, much stronger for the experience."

Keith adds the mythological bird was also a great way to keep him from naming the fragrance after himself:

"The last thing I want to make a man do is: When someone asks him what he’s wearing is for that poor man to say, 'I’m wearing Keith Urban'. That just seems really awkward to me. I wanted to allow a man the dignity to respond with something that is a little more appropriate. Not too hoity-toity, not too chic and metro, something that’s got a nice, masculine simplicity to it. I felt Phoenix fit that really well.”

To promote Phoenix, the singer is ripping a page out of Katy Perry's fragrant book by scenting the concert venues he's playing at this summer and distributing scented tattoos.

Not a bad idea!

Keith's scent will rise from the ashes and into stores in mid-September with prices ranging from $24 to $48.

Nicole Kidman's Blue-tiful In New York

Now this is more like it.

On Thursday night, Nicole Kidman redeemed herself at the New York premiere of Rabbit Hole following a tragic display at the CMAs.

The Aussie walked the red carpet with hubby Keith Urban in a lovely dark blue Clements Ribeiro dress.

We're not crazy about the shoes, but overall Nicole looks great!

Mrs. Urban Fails To Impress At The CMAs

Ugh.

Once again Nicole Kidman joined her country singing husband Keith Urban at the Country Music Awards in Nashville.

And just like last year, she was not a winner on the red carpet.

The lace Dolce & Gabbana dress had potential, but for some reason Nicole had to go and mess it up with those red cage shoes.

Oh well, there's always next year.

Nicole Kidman Is The Most Stylish Down Under

Nicole Kidman's native Australia voted her InStyle's most fashionable celebrity.

The ageless Nicole won the InStyle's Reader's Choice award, but unfortunately wasn't able to pick up her trophy in person. Instead, she sent a video message where she thanked her mother Janelle for influencing her choices.

Mrs. Keith Urban said in her speech:

"Style means having a voice. It means not compromising who you are because of what people say. It means standing proud and knowing that sometimes you are going to go in and out of fashion, but still, staying true to yourself."

Well said. Congrats!
