Lauren Conrad's been bitten by the beauty bug!

The former reality star announced this week she's following up her Lauren Conrad Style book with Lauren Conrad Beauty.

LC wrote on her blog:

"…My beauty book will be your ultimate guide for all things beauty. In it, I’ll provide my personal insights, instructions and tips to keep you looking glamorous 365 days a year. I’ll address everything from how your diet affects skincare and fun hairstyles for a night out to one simple thing you can do each day to freshen up your look."

Now it all makes sense!

Lauren's slowly elbowed her way into the beauty world with the launch of the Beauty Department website in April. She also has a line of beauty products in the works, so really a book is the next logical step.

Smart girl.

Lauren Conrad's Seasonal Fragrance Picks

Lauren Conrad likes to match the way she smells to the season.

In a new blog post, LC dishes on what she'll be wearing now that the cooler months are upon us. She writes:

"To say I love perfume would be an understatement. For me, it’s a must. A fabulous fragrance is like the icing on a cake. It’s the final touch. Perfume exudes luxury, but for a fraction of the cost. After one spritz of my favorite eau de toilette (as the French would say) I’m instantly elevated—feeling feminine and downright divine.

I love to change up my perfume selections based on the season. In cooler months, I prefer sophisticated scents that are more saturated. Whether it’s a hint of musk, a dash of lily, or a trace of jasmine, I like to think my fall and winter perfumes are a tad more elegant. For fall, I love Miss Dior Cherie. And for winter, Issey Miyake is my go-to. Both scents have a lot more body compared to all of the lighter fragrances I usually wear during the spring and summer season."

What will U be wearing this fall and winter???

LC made the announcement via her lifestyle column on Forbes.com this week, telling readers:

"Right now, one of my main objectives is to expand TheBeautyDepartment.com into a product line. I am currently researching all of my options, but should begin the process of executing an actual line very soon—stay tuned."

We gotta give the girl some credit, she's a smart businesswoman. Make that money, girl!
