It's been a minute since we've heard any buzz about John Galliano's successor at Christian Dior, that is until now.
The rumor du jour is LVMH boss Bernard Arnault wants Marc Jacobs to take over the gig because his image would be good for the fashion house.
So what does that mean for Louis Vuitton?
Since MJ has already renewed his creative director contract he could do both, but according to sources he'll most likely have to choose one or the other.
After nearly 15 years at Louis V, maybe a change would be good for Marc.
What do U think???

Say whaaaa???
Word on the Parisian street is LVMH execs are thinking about letting John Galliano return to his eponymous label.
As you probably remember, the scandal-plagued designer was fired in April, but now they've apparently had a change of heart.
Fashion critic Cathy Horyn revealed in her column for the New York Times on Friday:
"On Thursday, I ran into a number of executives who work with LVMH, and they would speak only on the condition of anonymity because of their close dealings. One individual said there had been casual discussions among LVMH executives about the feasibility of Mr. Galliano returning to his own label. Would the media and the public accept his return? This individual said he thought so. Another executive with whom I spoke had the same view. He cited the appeal of Mr. Galliano’s ultrafeminine fashion and added that in recent years the designer had lost touch with that sensibility (and indeed reality). “It became a kind of Lady Gaga show, and he’s more talented than this,” the executive said."
Hmm, we don't know what to think about this. Could this possibly be a PR stunt or is LVMH being legit???
Should Galliano be rehired at his own line???

The president of Marc Jacobs and lightening rod for drama, Robert Duffy, is being sued for sexual misconduct in the workplace and the claims are explosive.
The suit was filed by the company's former COO Patrice Lataillade, who claims Duffy created a "discriminatory environment". For example:
"Duffy's conduct which created a hostile work environment include his displaying gay pornography in the office and requiring employees to look at it; his production and dissemination of a book which includes photos of MJI staff in sexual positions or nude; [and] his requirement that an MJI store employee perform a pole dance for him."
Patrice says he "complained about Duffy's behavior and requested, on numerous occasions, that Duffy's creation of a sexually charged workplace be stopped", but obviously nothing was done.
Other employees also complained, but the company lawyer told a female she needed "thicker skin" and a male to "go home early and have a drink".
Wow.
The now ex-COO's complaints increased with Robert's naughty conduct and was eventually fired in September.
Now Lataillade is seeking unspecified monetary damages discrimination, retaliation and his "mental anguish and humiliation".
LVMH said they will "vigorously defend the case in court."

The big wigs over at Christian Dior have decided to leave the fashion world on the edge of their seat when it comes to John Galliano's replacement.
Reputable sources say the fashion house is holding off on the big announcement two reasons: Galliano's contract has yet to be legally dissolved and LVMH doesn't want to overshadow the current season.
Fair enough.
So for anyone who was planning to throw a big party for Riccardo Tisci, wait until the fall.

There's one person in the world that Marc Jacobs can't say 'no' to and that's Anna Wintour.
He told the Wall Street Journal:
"If I get a request for something, there aren't two possible answers. First I get an email, then a phone call from someone at Vogue, and now I don't even bother to say no - I know the next call is from her."
Hey, if Anna suggested your name to LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault as a good designer to takeover Louis Vuitton, you probably wouldn't say no either.
