Lydia Distances Herself From Lohan Film

This movie is beginning to fall apart!

On Monday we mentioned Lydia Hearst would be playing what writer/producer Charles Casillo described as "a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan" in Dogs In Pocketbooks.

Since then, Dina Lohan has threatened to sue, Casillo recanted his original statement and now Lydia's saying she's not involved.

The red-haired model tweeted:

Just so we are all clear.. My hair is Red because I am the new face of Schwarzkopf color. I am a model. I dyed my hair to front the campaign

As for any theatrical roles I am currently filming Two Jacks directed by Bernard Rose. My next project is Catwalk by Tony Hickox…

And there you have it.

So why would Casillo tell the Post otherwise? Oh right, for the publicity.

Lydia To Act Like Lohan

Model Lydia Hearst's landed her first mayjah movie gig!

The 26 year old is set to star in Dogs In Pocketbooks, where she'll play "a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media — a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan."

Screenwriter Charles Casillo says of Lydia:

"She's one of the few supermodels who can actually act. She's smart, well-read, charming and very beautiful. We looked at a lot of actresses for this role, and I was really knocked out."

And before you go and pick up the phone to complain ,Dina Lohan, Casillo says the film "is in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay. It's the kind of thing she has spoofed about herself in the past."

We'd say that's fair.

Shooting for the film, which also stars Joan Collins as Lydia's agent, begins in February.

Jeff Goldblum Dating Lydia Hearst?!?

This is unexpected.

Actor Jeff Goldblum was spotted out last night grabbing some dinner at Mr. Chow restaurant in Los Angeles with model and socialite Lydia Hearst.

We know he likes them young, but he’s more than double her age!

Goldblum, who’s 58, couldn’t stop smiling for the paparazzi after they spotted him with the 22-year-old hottie.

How much in common can someone in their 20’s have with someone who’s almost 60? Guess they like the same food at least.

They've also been spotted together sporadically over the past several weeks.
