The Martha Stewart vs. Macy's legal dramz won't quit!!!
Stewart’s company Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc has asked a NY Supreme Court justice to force Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren to testify as part of the ongoing legal battle starting back in January.

The breach of contract legal battle between Macy's and Martha Stewart raged on this week.
On Monday the department store responded to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc.'s claims that they failed to "maximize net sales" of her branded products, which they say is not true.
According to Macy's sales from third-party licenses, including Martha Stewart Collection "actually increased".
The department store also shot down Stewart's accusations that they used her products to draw in customers to increase sales of their own private label products when in actuality sales "essentially remained the same".
And what about Martha's claims that Macy's turned down additional designs leaving "untold profits on the table"?
They called shenanigans on that one too.
Geez. All this "he said" "she said" is making our head spin!
Both parties are due back in court for more bickering on March 8th.

Big changes are coming to JCPenney!
On Monday the department store unveiled their new $800 million image overhaul, which includes a new promotion strategy and a store within a store concept like Target with as many as 100 individual shop concepts for private and national brands.
JCPenney is also stealing Martha Stewart from Macy's and creating her own stores that were described as an "Apple store…married with Martha Stewart".
As we told you a couple weeks ago, Martha is being sued by Macy's over the new deal, but many speculate JCPenney will end up paying their competitor to relinquish the queen of crafts from her contract.

It's only been a week since Macy's notified Martha Stewart they plan to sue for breach of contract, but surprisingly they've already come to an agreement on one thing — they want privacy.
On Monday lawyers for both parties met in court and agreed to file papers that would keep certain details of the case confidential. The judge said we would sign off on them as soon as they were filed.

It was a busy day today for JCPenney.
The company held the official unveiling of the brand's new look at Pier 57 in New York City.
Among the celebs in attendance were Ashley and MaryKate Olsen as well as fellow design partners Cindy Crawford, Martha Stewart and Nanette Lepore.
The Olsens looked sophisticated in their coordinating black outfits and matching purses. As for Cindy, she looked gorgeous as ever, also in black, though showing off a lot of leg.
Though perhaps the biggest surprise came when Ellen DeGeneres made an appearance via satellite to announce she’s the brand’s newest partner!
Coincidentally, Ellen's first job was at a JCPenney store.
