With her catwalk days behind her, Cindy Crawford has settled into the role of being a domestic wife and mom.
Cindy tells Town & Country magazine: "I never set out to be the next Martha Stewart, but I love working with interiors, because it reflects who I am today … someone who cares about her home environment."
The mother of two says she wants to be happy in her Malibu home that was decorated by the White House's Michael Smith. Although she clarifies "the kind of happiness that's not contingent on my looking good in a bikini."
And she still does look good in one, by the way.

This is a smart idea!
Sandals Resorts International already hosts 13,000 weddings per year, and now in a genius move, the resort company has teamed up with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia to offer a variety of six different wedding themes, designed by Miz Martha herself. The offerings, dubbed Sandals Weddings by Martha Stewart, began at the beginning of this month, featuring a variety of color palettes, wedding decor, bouquets, invitations, cakes, favors and the like.
Adam Stewart, CEO of Sandals, said
"We have a fundamental mindset that the wedding day has to be perfect and flawless. We are constantly trying to find new and innovative ways to deliver that experience for the bride and groom. That road let us to Martha Stewart, who is a visionary."
So true and so smart!
If we were getting married, the idea of being at a resort and having a little touch of Martha would be very alluring!

Oh Martha!
The reigning queen of homemaking, Miz Martha Stewart, is feeling some backlash due to a comment she made yesterday when hosting Roberto Cavalli on her show.
Cavalli put together a fashion show, and when it was time to wrap it up, to end the segment, Martha said, "Everybody who's not thin enough to wear these dresses: go on a little diet. I'm going on a diet!"
Some people are interpreting this as a serious suggested and are taking offense, but we think she was mostly complimenting the pretty dresses but noting that for most women, such small sizes aren't realistic. We doubt she was actually urging her viewers to become model thin to fit into a dress they'll likely never own. We also sort of feel like she's acknowledging - as we previously opined - that her viewers aren't exactly Roberto Cavalli's target audience.
We weren't offended by Martha's little joke. Were U??

Martha Stewart is getting very chic this week!
Tomorrow, Wednesday the 9th, the homemaker extraordinaire is hosting the great Tom Ford on her morning talk show. Ford is making an appearance to discuss his upcoming film, A Single Man. Then, on Thursday, Roberto Cavalli will join Martha on the show to promote his line with an on-air fashion show.
We're really excited about this, but it seems like sort of an odd pairing. Martha's viewers don't seem like they'd be big Cavalli wearers, but what do we know!
We're just excited to check it out!

Or is it the other way around?
This past Tuesday night Valentino decided to throw a small little party to celebrate the DVD release of his documentary The Last Emperor with some of his friends including Hugh Jackman, Adrien Brody, Brian Grazer, Stephen Daldry, Martha Stewart, Marc Jacobs, Thakoon Panichgul, and Diane von Furstenberg.
Oh and we can't forget Madonna!
Madge showed up just after 11pm, where her lover Jesus Luz just so happened to be deejaying.
Hmm, wonder how he got that job?
Madonna even made her way to the dance floor and grinded up on Bravo's Andy Cohen. Everyone eventually followed the Material Girl's lead including Valentino!
Sounds like some party!
