Penelope Cruz Blushes In Rome

Penelope Cruz tried to redeem herself on Friday night at the premiere of To Rome With Love following that snoozefest of fashion disaster earlier in the day.

For the premiere, Pene stepped on to the gray carpet in a blush-colored Dolce & Gabbana lace gown, a Roger Vivier clutch and Chopard jewels.

Could she have done better? Mos def, but at least Penelope actually put in some effort this time around.

Penelope Cruz Only Has Eyes For Harper's Bazaar

Penelope Cruz appears on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's May issue looking as if she's got something to hide.

Despite the air of mystery on the cover, Pene was more than happy to talk to the mag about her idol and red carpet style!

On her idol, Meryl Streep:

"When I first started watching movies and I saw Meryl’s work, that’s when I became obsessed with acting. Now I kiss her whenever I see her! She must think I’m crazy."

On shooting the cover of Vogue Paris with Meryl for AIDS (RED):

"As soon as she got to the set, I had to sit topless on top of her. It was the most interesting love scene I’ve ever done."

On her red carpet fashion choices:

"All I look for is to be able to breathe!"

On her favorite red carpet moment:

"The vintage Balmain I wore when I won the Oscar [in 2009]."

We're digging the cover, but we wish Bazaar would switch things up every now and then. Terry Richardson's white background photography is getting old.

Christian Dior is set to commemorate some of the most iconic outfits ever worn on and off the silver screen in a MASSIVE exhibit and book called Stars In Dior.

Stars In Dior will run from May 12 to Sept. 23, at the Christian Dior Museum in Normandy, (housed in Dior’s childhood home), and the book is set to be released in the US this September.
