Penelope Cruz made an appearance at the Rome Film Festival on Wednesday to attend the photocall for her upcoming film Venuto al Mondo.
The Spanish actress took the menswear route and wore a simple Dolce & Gabbana suit.
We can't get excited about Pene's ensemble. It needs a little somethin' somethin' to take it to the next level.

Penelope Cruz is looking futuristically fierce on the cover of V magazine 72.
Since the fall preview issue is all about transformations, Pene opened up to the mag about some of hers.
Her are some HIGHlights:
On fame:
"I refuse to call myself anything other than a working actress"
On her biggest transformation:
"The biggest transformation is becoming a mother. It changes you forever"
On her Pirates co-star Johnny Depp:
"Johnny wears everything better than I do. He even wore a dress in the movie he did with Javier, Before Night Falls."
We have a hard time believing that Johnny looks better in everything, but we wouldn't mind him proving it to us.

To celebrate his 11th showing in Cannes, W magazine rounded up some of Woody Allen's favorite muses for a photo shoot.
The spread featured in the mag's June issue includes overly photoshopped photos of Rachel McAdams, Penelope Cruz, Naomi Watts, Tea Leoni and Mariel Hemmingway.
Funny because when Woody was asked about his casting process he told W:
"Casting is so awkward. I’m too shy to meet them. I have the women come in and I don’t let them sit down. I make up some questions, but I couldn’t care less about chatting. I only see them to make sure that they haven’t gained 200 pounds or had five face jobs. I want to see that the woman I saw on the DVD is still intact."

Just when we thought Penelope Cruz saved the best for Cannes, she goes and proves us wrong.
On Monday night the sexy Spaniard was in Germany for yet another Pirates premiere and she looked fan-freakin-tastic! Pene wore a gorgeous red Armani Prive gown that highlighted all the right features.

The Academy Award winning actress was photographed by Mario Testino and wears Dolce & Gabbana's much loved spring 2011 collection in all her shots.
It's so refreshing to see Vogue going easy on the Photoshop. We hope they continue that trend.
