It's hard to believe Penelope Cruz just had a baby a little over a month ago.
The new mom made one of her first public appearances at the Academy Awards on Sunday with her hubby in a flashy L'Wren Scott red crystal dress that showed off her faboosh post-baby curves.

Recently married Penelope Cruz is not a fan of teen magazines.
In an interview with the UK's You magazine, Pene slammed the young publications saying:
"I would close down all those teenage magazines that encourage young girls to diet. Who says that to be pretty you have to be thin? Some people look better thin and some don't. There is almost a standard being created where only thin is acceptable. The influence of those magazines on girls as young as 13 is horrific."
She makes a great point, but more mature publications like Cosmo are just as guilty.

As we mentioned earlier, Salma Hayak auctioned off the very first Gucci couture gown she wore at the Cannes Film Festival at her BFF Penelope Cruz' charity auction.
Turns out Salma wasn't the only celeb that donated her dress to the cause.
Other ladies that helped raise money for Sean Penn's Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization included: Scarlett Johansson, Diane Kruger, Charlize Theron, Naomi Watts, Marion Cotillard, Demi Moore, Gisele Bundchen, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow.
In total, Penelope's auction with Chopard raised $333,000.

Salma Hayek helped raise $21,000 for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization by auctioning off the very first Gucci Premiere gown she wore to last week's Robin Hood premiere.
The bidding on the gown and the original Frida Giannini sketch took place in Cannes at the Penelope Cruz/Chopard auction on Wednesday.
Congrats to the lucky winner!
