Rachel Bilson traveled to South Africa last month with InStyle to learn about the controversial diamond mining industry there.
After her trip, the actress designed a leather and diamond bracelet to raise money for the non-profit organization Diamond Empowerment Fund, whose mission is "to raise money to support education initiatives that develop and empower economically disadvantaged people in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource."
The money raised through Rachel's bracelet will be used to build student housing at the Johannesburg university, CIDA City Campus.
What a great way to give back; we are firm believers in the power of education - not to get all School House Rock on you, but knowledge really is power.
The cute bracelet is on sale at Macys.com for $100. Twenty dollars from each sale go to the Diamond Empowerment Fund - not bad!
This would make a great Valentine's day gift for your signif other!

Woah! That's Rachel Bilson!?
Rach ditched her girl-next-door look from her Lucky Magazine cover, and brought on the seks in this spread for Flaunt magazine.
Wonder if she was thinking of Gayden Hayden Christensen during the shoot?

OC alum and future Mrs. Hayden Christensen is on the cover of November's Lucky magazine, looking pretty, as usual.
Inside the mag, Rachel Bilson gives out fashion tips for those wanting to steal her ever-changing looks.
She reveals to Lucky: "I'm constantly trying new things and experimenting. So I never really settle on one style. By the time I figure out how to define my look, I'm usually ready to move on to something else."
Such a trendsetter!

That's right!
Rompers, or playsuits, are the hottest little outfit for summer and to take you into fall these days. Easy, comfortable, and fun, they're flying off the shelves at Forever21, Urban Outfitters, and major department stores.
The best part is that the right romper is flattering on nearly any body type, and you can take them from day into night. Plus, they're super low maintenance.
Can we get them in guy versions? No, seriously, we NEED a "playsuit"! Even the name sounds fun!
Take a cue from Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson, or Lauren Conrad and go grab one!
