This is so, so, so sad!

Advertising executive Madonna Badger, the woman behind Mark Wahlberg's iconic Calvin Klein ad, tragically lost her children and parents after her Connecticut home caught fire early Christmas morning.

The blaze spread so quickly that by the time firefighters arrived they were unable to reach Badger's 10-year-old daughter, Lily, 7-year-old twins, Sarah and Grace or her parents Lomer and Pauline Johnson on the second floor.

Madonna and her friend Michael Borcina were the only ones to survive the fire, which is currently under investigation by Stamford fire officials.

Such a tragedy!

Our thoughts go out to Madonna and her family during this extremely difficult time.

Such great news to report about Lauren Scruggs.

Earlier this week we told you about the 23-year-old model and blogger who lost her left hand and sustained major injuries after getting too close to an airplane propeller this past weekend.

Thankfully a few days later she was slowly starting to talk again to the staff and to her family.

Now we find out she’s walking! An update on her site reveals:

This morning, Lauren experienced a victory!

Earlier, the physical therapist assisted Lauren in walking for the first time. Once she got halfway there, she said, "30". Not sure what she meant, Jeff, Cheryl, and Brittany asked her what that means, she replied, "Steps!" What a praise, she was counting every step that she took!

The left eye is still non-responsive, the doctors will continue monitoring it for the next few days. Also, please pray her Lauren as she begins to learn the extent of her injuries and continue to pray away all infections.”

If you’d like to help Lauren and facilitate with her medical bills and rehab, her family is taking donations.

This is terrible!

Model and blogger Lauren Scruggs sustained major injuries after getting too close to an airplane propeller this weekend.

The 23 year old ended up losing her left hand and also suffered eye, shoulder and head injuries. Lauren has already undergone multiple surgeries, including a facial and shoulder reconstruction and is said to be in stable condition.

Her family wrote on Monday morning:

She is now resting in ICU with the family. She is able to open her right eye to see while her left eye is still bandaged. Please continue to pray for the vision of her left eye, as we will not know the status of her sight for some time.

As Lauren begins to wake up, she is learning the extent of her injuries. Brittany was able to explain to her that she was in an accident, sustaining multiple injuries. She seemed to acknowledge what Brittany explained and confirmed it with a hand squeeze.

Please pray for Lauren's emotional strength, as well as Jeff, Cheryl, Brittany, and Shaun's, as they begin the long journey of recovery.

Our thoughts go out to Lauren and the Scruggs family during this difficult time. We wish her an easy recovery that's as pain-free as possible!
