Scary!

Kate Moss has been diagnosed with ulnar nerve entrapment after she woke up in Paris and couldn't move her right arm or hand.

A friend of the supermodel says it all went down last weekend, telling the Daily Mail:

"Kate was at the Ritz when she woke and had no feeling in her arm, which was terrifying. She saw the hotel's doctor and when she came back, she got a second opinion. She has told her friends she has ulnar nerve entrapment, a common disorder that can result in a temporary paralysis."

The friend adds Kate is very unhappy and is in so much pain she can't even remove a lid off a jar. However, the good news is the condition isn't permanent and can be treated, but it will take a few months for it to completely heal.

Get well soon Mossy!

How sad!

Club fixture and style icon Zelda Kaplan died while sitting front row at Joanna Mastroianni's fall fashion show on Wednesday.

According to those who attended the Lincoln Center show, the 95 year old slumped over right as the second model walked down the runway. A witness added:

"Zelda passed away, right there, in the front row. Security carried her out, but the show just carried on. Everybody is distraught."

Paramedics performed CPR on Kaplan and rushed her to the hospital, but it was too late to revive her.

Zelda's close friend and designer Richie Rich said:

"Passing away in the front row was how it was meant to be. Zelda loves fashion, so she died for fashion. She would have wanted to go out in style. Zelda always said, ‘Live, live, live and have fun’ . . . I hope the angels are holding her right now."

Our thoughts go out to Zelda's friends and family during this difficult time.

Lauren Scruggs Had Her Toughest Week Yet

lauren-scruggs-cheryl-scruggs-toughest-week-yet-blog.jpg

Lauren Scruggs may be making progress in her recovery, but according to her mom last week was very difficult.

Cheryl Scruggs wrote on Friday night they are now working through the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

Her entry continued:

We have experienced a little of this along this journey, but we now face it head on. Hard? um excruciating……….

They said it was coming……..and it has. It's healthy, yes. It's necessary, yes. But it's brutal.

At the beginning, many of the doctors told us "this will be a marathon, not a sprint; this will be a long rode to recovery.". I guess they were right.

I feel like such a debbie-downer; not being my upbeat, positive self, And I find it hard to write and put on paper what we are really experiencing, Have two months really gone by? Did Christmas really come and go? Is it really 2012? Hard to believe it's been 2 months since it all happened; sometimes it feels like a day; sometimes it feels like 5 years.

We'd like to think the worst is over for Lauren, but as Cheryl said it will indeed be a long road to recovery.

New Details Released From Model Lauren Scruggs' Airplane Accident

Last week we were glad to report that model Lauren Scruggs, who was injured by the propeller of an airplane, had finally started blogging again.

The 23-year-old lost her left eye and left hand after walking next to the plane’s propeller when exciting the plane.

Now we’re finally hearing reports of what happened from the pilot's point of view.

The pilot, who has yet to be publicly identified, is said to be Curt Richmond of Texas.

According to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Administration, Richmond:

"Leaned out of his seat and placed his right hand and arm in front of her to divert her away from the front of the airplane and the propeller.

He continued to keep his arm extended and told the passenger that she should walk behind the airplane.”

After he thought she had safely cleared the plane, he "returned to his normal seat position" and shortly after heard someone shout "Stop, Stop" which is when he shut off the engine and saw her on the floor.

As for Scrugg's family, they reportedly do not blame the pilot for the accident.

On a positive note, we're glad to hear Lauren is recuperating well despite the horrible accident.
