Sarah Jessica Parker Big Hair Crown Oaks Day

Sarah Jessica Parker garnered all the hat attention when she wore that huge, spiral, almost satellite-like hat the other day.

But for the big day — the Crown Oaks Day spring racing carnival (derby) — SJP decided to do something a little different for her headgear.

She's still channeling Carrie Bradshaw, but this time it's season three Carrie.

SJP had a very talented stylist roll her massive locks all up into one huge nest of perfectly curled hair.

And that's not all! Her hair was ornamented with a beautiful, jeweled hair piece. Matching that with the very elegant pink dress and silver jacket, her look was a win!

Anna Wintour is bringing Carrie Bradshaw's wedding gown photo shoot to life in this year's September issue.

The Sex and the City inspired spread stars the mag's cover girl and newlywed Kate Moss, who will model her own John Galliano wedding gown as well as other looks created by big name designers.

A source blabs:

"Kate is on the cover, but the wedding is the minor part of the story. Anna told about 10 designers to pick out their ideal dresses for Kate."

Not very original, but fitting nonetheless.

A Closet That Would Make Carrie Bradshaw Jealous!

A very loving husband gave his wife the ultimate gift: a custom walk in closet fit for ~~a queen~~ Carrie Bradshaw.

The retired Long Island businessman hired Sex and the City designer Lydia Marks to transform the 400 square foot guest bedroom into a closet straight out of the movie, right down to the same hand-beveled strips of mirrored glass.

Before building the closet Marks and her business partner Lisa Frantz measured every item to create an individual space. $175,000 later the anonymous lady has a dream closet that holds 400 pairs of designer shoes, dozens of handbags and drawers of sunglasses.

Wow.

The designing duo are already moving on to their next project: making her husband a Mr. Big worthy closet.
