The British lovely looked sleek in her long sleeved St. John LBD, coupled together with black Roger Vivier peep toe heels and silver earrings and cuff.
Kate toured the exhibit which featured designs by heavyweights like Tom Ford, Donna Karan, Diane von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs just to name a few.
We wonder if she took any ideas for her wardrobe home with her!

Jay-Z was looking awfully dapper last night at the United Way of New York City and Sean Carter Scholarship Foundation benefit concert.
Blue Ivy's daddy took the stage at Carnegie Hall wearing a white Tom Ford dinner jacket, wool evening pants, evening shirt, silk bowtie, and leather shoes.
Following his performance, Jay switched into a a silk black dot Wetherby cocktail jacket to attend the after party at his own 40/40 club.
Very nice, Mr. Carter.

All eyes were on Elle Macpherson at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night, but probably for different reasons.
The Body wore a beautiful smoke gray Tom Ford crystal and lace gown, but she had to go and ruin it by wearing a god awful hairpiece.
Not only does it not work with the dress, but it looks fake and cheap.
Why not pull it back in a bun or sleek ponytail? It would have made all the difference.
