Vanessa Paradis Looks Underdressed For Fashion Show

When you think of Paris haute couture week you think of glamour and high fashion. Though apparently someone forgot to pass that along to Vanessa Paradis.

The hottie attended the Chanel haute couture show today in jeans. Jeans!

While jeans might be acceptable at times for a red carpet event like a movie premiere, we don’t think it's the right choice for a fashion show.

Especially jeans you need to roll up because they’re too long.

Kudos on the classic, red Chanel bag though. That’s the only part of the look we like.

Vanessa Paradis Talks Unkle Karl In Interview

Model slash singer Vanessa Paradis has a photo spread in the November issue of Interview and it can only be described as one word: stunning.

Naturally, Johnny Depp's love is wearing all Chanel for the shoot and dished about her long history with the French fashion house and Karl Lagerfeld.

Vanessa tells Patti Smith:

We met a long time ago, but I've only really known him for a few years. Working with him on the things we do for Chanel is a collaboration, of course, but it's also just wonderful to be directed by him. Because the man is just a genius-a genius with a big sense of humor-which is so much fun to be around.

He comes prepared to photo shoots, but he also has a big kid's spirit as well-because his spontaneity is incredible. He'll come up with ideas on the spot, and they are even better than the ones he came with before. His imagination is constantly going and moving. I never thought I could speak like this about photo sessions, but when you're working with him, there is something deeper than just the image. It doesn't stop at the surface of, "Okay, we'll put makeup on, we'll put clothes on, and then take a pretty picture." It's deeper than that.

The more you get to know Karl Lagerfeld, the more you love him. There's something about his eyes. He always has those really dark glasses on, but then sometimes he'll take them off and you'll see the eyes. They are so pure and beautiful. It's really amazing, because he's got quite an impressive look, with the suits and the ties and the jewelry and everything, but underneath there's really a little boy.

We'd love to see the softer side of Unkle Karl.

Models Past & Present Hit Up Chanel

It was a packed house at the Chanel fashion show on Tuesday and many of them were faces of the Parisian fashion house.

Karl Lagerfeld's long time fave, Claudia Schiffer was in attendance wearing a more casual outfit. Naturally she repped the fashion house around her neck with a large double C necklace.

Newcomers Keira Knightley and Vanessa Paradis both came looking chic in their ensemble complete with Chanel jackets.

We were most surprised to see Lily Allen at the show since she was fired for being a drunken mess.

Maybe Unkle Karl knew she wouldn't be drinking now that she's pregnant.

And then there was Rachel Bilson. We think she'd look a lot better if her hair wasn't 5 different colors, but at least it matches her dress.

Vanessa Walks In Marilyn's Shoes

Johnny Depp really loves his baby momma Vanessa Paradis.

The actor bought his longtime partner a pair of shoes once worn by her idol Marilyn Monroe.

Vanessa gushed of the Ferragamos:

He spoils me. He actually bought me the Marilyn Monroe shoes. Monroe's someone who touches me really deeply. I truly admire both actress and the singer that she was. I love Lazy and so many of her songs. She had a velvety voice."

And while they're one of her most prized possessions, Vanessa never wears them.
