Diane Looks Dandy In Vogue Germany

vogue_dutch_cover_e.jpg vogue_dutch_2e.jpg vogue_dutch_3e.jpg vogue_dutch_4e.jpg

Perhaps this explains why she wore Chanel Couture to the Oscars.

Diane Kruger ditches the ruffles and frills for something a little less feminine in the latest April edition of Vogue Germany.

Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, Diane poses in different suits and hats for the pretty black and white spread.

She pulls off the androgynous look A LOT better than Nicole Kidman did.

What do U think of the spread???

Gisele Shows Off & Talks About Her Post Baby Body For Vogue

vogue_april_gisele_e.jpg

The more she talks, the more reasons women have to hate her.

Gisele Bundchen continues to talk about her first pregnancy with baby Benjamin. The supermodel talks in the April issue of Vogue about the mere 30 pounds she gained.

The supermodel eloquently says "I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals."

To keep the weight gain to a minimum Gis worked out up until two weeks before her baby was born and watched what she ate.

She makes it sound so easy!

Gisele also talks about what it was like to model for the first time after giving birth. She reveals:

I got to the studio and I felt like I was E.T. — whoa, what's going on? Hair and makeup? I hadn't looked at myself in a mirror for a month-and-a-half. I'd been in my house, in a cocoon with my kids, my husband, my dogs. Usually, as I walk through the door into that atmosphere, I already feel different. There's a button that goes On and I'm On. And when I go On, there is almost no me; there is just a character who is doing all this. This time it wasn't like that. I've been really inside with my husband and my baby, and everything is changed. But the client still deserves respect and professionalism, and I got a little bit concerned because I wasn't feeling it. Makeup was done, hair was done, and I looked in the mirror and I still wasn't seeing the person who's a model. For the first time, I think I actually saw me — the inside — instead of the persona."

Deep.

Model Blasts Photographer Terry Richardson

wenn_rie_terry_e.jpg

Rie Rasmussen is furious with celebrity photographer Terry Richardson.

At a Paris Fashion event the supermodel took a dig at the photog saying she was upset at Terry for using her picture in his book Terryworld, which features pHOtos of half-naked young girls simulating sex acts.

Eww!

Rie said angrily:

"He takes girls who are young, manipulates them to take their clothes off and takes pictures of them they will be ashamed of. They are too afraid to say no because their agency booked them on the job and are too young to stand up for themselves. His 'look' is girls who appear underage, abused, look like heroin addicts . . . I don't understand how anyone works with him. I told him what you do is completely degrading to women. I hope you know you only [bleep] girls because you have a camera, lots of fashion contacts and get your pictures in Vogue. Instead of arguing with me, Terry ran out of the bar. Then the next day, he called my agency and complained I called him names in front of clients in Paris. It was the most cowardly thing I have ever seen."

Hmm, we're getting flashbacks to convicted rapist Anand Jon Alexander.

A rep for the photographer said "I don't know anything about this. Terry is on a plane from Paris."

While we certainly hope nothing like this happened, we wouldn't be surprised if a model or two came forward with rape allegations against Terry.

ALT Talks ANTM, Anna & Elephants!

97004210_e.jpg

If you tuned in to catch new ANTM judge Andre Leon Talley, you were probably disappointed since TyTy made it a two part premiere (which BTW, no one even bother to tell Andre he wouldn't be on the first part, nice going Tyrannosaurus.)

But to make up for that, Andre recently sat down to talk about anything and everything including squashing that nasty rumor of him riding an elephant.

Here are some highlights from the Vogue editor at large's interview:

On Anna Wintour watching the show:

Oh no, Anna doesn't look at television. Maybe tennis. Just tennis…I don't think she's a television-watcher. I've been to her home many times and I've never seen her watch the TV.

On fitting in on the judging panel:

No! I love Tyra. It's like coming home.

On whether or not "dreckitude" will become the new 'it' word:

We will see! I don't know. I can't gauge these things. This is all new to me.

On riding the rumors of riding an elephant:

Oh no, no, no, no, no! I love the rumor, but it's not true. I went to see an elephant in a zoo and we bonded. Tyra and I spent an afternoon with an elephant. But we by no means rode the elephant. I love the idea that people think I'm riding elephants on the show. That's cool.

On the lack of diversity on the runway:

Oh, but Diane Von Furstenberg did her duty! Half her show was black models. That was one of the great shows. You know, it's never going to go back to what it was. We will always make them aware. There is always going to be an awareness about that. I don't think that is a fair criticism of that, because in all the shows there was lots of diversity.

One thing's for sure Tyra sure did leave everyone chomping at the bit to see ALT.

Are U excited for ALT's debut???

Balenciaga Blacklisted French Vogue For Aiding Knockoffs!

wenn2656064_e.jpg

Tisk, tisk Carine Roitfeld!

Last week, we mentioned that the folks of French Vogue were blacklisted from all things Balenciaga, and now we know why!

According to a source, while borrowing one of the label's samples for an editorial shoot, the mag's editor-in-chief passed it off to Max Mara for them to copy before sending it back to Paris.

Balenciaga eventually found out, lost their shiz over it and now the Frenchies are banned.

The source also adds that it was no mistake and they knew what they were doing the whole time.

That's no way to make friends in the industry.

Now that the word is out, we're sure other labels will be giving them hell if they decide to loan them anything.
