Supermodel mommy Heidi Klum love her kids' curly hair and is sharing her wisdom with other moms on how to properly care for it.
The Project Runway hostess with the mostess writes:
"Having four children, with one having straight hair and three curly, it's a bit of a new world for me. Growing up with straight hair myself, that was all I really knew how to work with. It was pretty straightforward: wash, air dry, done.
Henry, Johan and Lou — my three youngest — have super beautiful locks. Their hair definitely requires a different kind of care than my daughter Leni's hair. I've learned to never brush their curly hair when it's dry because then it'll frizz. I use lots of conditioner and detangler, and only go to hairdressers who really KNOW how to cut and style curly hair.
I've let my boys' hair grow really really long, and just recently they asked me to cut off their beautiful hair! It was funny because it was definitely harder for ME in some ways, as I absolutely love their hair! I'm their Mom — I've been the one to carefully brush and help them care for it all these years, but I do want them to be who they want to be. I think that's really important, to allow kids to express themselves — everything from the way they dress to how they want their hair. And now, that meant short.
And of course, it was not just simple short! They wanted mohawks with special designs to them, so I asked Lamar Odom who did his cool star-design buzz, and then contacted his stylist. He gave my kids these buzz cuts with amazing individual designs… great for the summer because they're COOL, in both senses of the word!
Great tips, Heidi!

Kim Kardashian has revealed what we've known for two months now: she'll be walking down the aisle in Vera Wang.
The bride-to-be made the not so surprising announcement on her blog yesterday, writing:
I am so excited to reveal that Vera Wang is my wedding dress designer. Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years, so when it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!
I know that Vera can make my dream come true and create the most perfect gown for my special day.
In other news, the sky is blue.

QVC has a very angry Jane Fonda on their hands!
The 71 year old actress was supposed to promote her new memoir Prime Time on Saturday, but was axed from the schedule because QVC feared viewer boycotts.
After getting the news, Jane immediately took to her blog to blast the shopping channel:
I was to have been on QVC today to introduce my book, “Prime Time,” about aging and the life cycle. The network said they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear. I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups. And that they did it without talking to me first. I have never shied away from talking about this as I have nothing to hide. I could have pointed out that threats of boycotts are nothing new for me and have never prevented me from having best selling books and exercise DVDs, films, and a Broadway play. Most people don’t buy into the far right lies. Many people have reached out to express how excited they were about my going onto QVC and hearing about my book.
Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us. I do not understand what the far right stands to gain by continuing with these myths. In this case, they denied a lot of people the chance to hear about a book that can help make life better, easier and more fulfilling. I am deeply grateful for all of the support I have been getting since this happened, including from my Vietnam Veterans friends.
QVC eventually released a statement, saying: "It’s not unusual to have a schedule change with our shows and guests with little or no notice."
Way to pussyfoot around the issue.

Kimora Lee Simmons is upset over a story where she's quoted saying she lost 25 pounds by "not eating".
So, like any other celebrity, she took to her blog to make it crystal clear that she did it in a healthy way.
KSL writes:
I just wanted to take a moment to address a story about my recent weight loss that began circulating today. This story led people to believe that I shed 25 lbs by not eating, which is completely ridiculous. I am a mother of three young children, two of whom are girls and I’m trying to raise them with a healthy body image. It’s taken me almost a year to lose close to 25 lbs and I did it through healthy diet and exercise. So yes, I’m a bit smaller, but still curvy and 100% healthy and proud of my body and the time it has taken me to undergo this personal journey for myself. I’m not one of those “superstar moms” who lost all their baby weight in a week. So, yes, I’m upset about the innuendo because I just can’t win. In the past year there have been numerous rumors about my weight — first I was attacked for being a size 10, now I’m anorexic? I’m a real woman and I represent real women. I believe that people are beautiful at any size, color or weight. The way this article was promoted is unfortunate — what a silly way to sensationalize a story, especially when you know young people will be reading it. There must be more accountability in reporting, especially considering the far reaching impact on girls and young women who are exposed to this kind of misleading information on a daily basis. What kind of example is that setting for them?
We're glad she did the responsible thing by clarifying her original statement and for being healthy!

Kim Kardashian took to her blog on Monday to speak out about her now controversial Cosmo Turkey cover.
The cover girl wrote:
I just found out today that I am on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine in Turkey this month. Cosmopolitan magazine has a number of international editions all around the world that run in various territories, and when I did this shoot for the international covers I had no idea that Turkey was planning to run my story on their cover THIS month, considering Genocide Remembrance Day is this month. My Armenian heritage means a lot to me and I’ve been brought up to be incredibly proud of my family’s background and culture so as an Armenian-American woman it is a huge honor for me to be on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan cover (pic above.)
I have an amazing relationship with Cosmopolitan magazine. World-over, Cosmo is known as a fun and inspiring magazine for women of all races, shapes, sizes, regardless of their political beliefs and I really hope that if I can bring awareness to the issue, then this in an accomplishment.
Very professionally put, Kimmy.
