Celebs Donate Their Coats For A Good Cause

Elle creative director Joe Zee killed two birds with one stone on Wednesday: promote his show All On the Line and collect coats for New York Cares!

Celebs including ex-Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr, Gabourey Sidibe, Coyote Ugly's Piper Perabo and Valerie Bertinelli all stopped by Bloomingdale's to donate their coats.

If U want to donate a coat, Bloomingdale’s on 59th St. will be collecting them until December 5th.

Janet Jackson Launches Her Own Fur Collection

Blackglama is taking their relationship with Janet Jackson one step fur-ther with the launch of the new Janet Jackson Blackglama collection.

The 15 piece luxury fur collection includes coats, jackets, vests, scarves and gloves that uses a combination of mink and leather.

Miss Jackson said of her furry fashion foray:

"The art of fashion is one of my great passions. I've worked for years to bring a collection into the world. Partnering with Blackglama is very exciting."

The line can be found in the fur salons at Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale's starting this month.

We expect a statement from PETA any time now.

Elizabeth Hurley Continues To Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

Estee Lauder spokeswoman and breast cancer awareness advocate Elizabeth Hurley stopped by Bloomingdale's on Thursday night for the Ready, Set, Pink! event.

The 46 year old looked gorgeous as usual in a pale pink Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress with nude sandals and a crystal encrusted clutch.

Raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation has never looked better!

Look Out Europe! American Apparel's Coming For You!

Because business is all rainbows and unicorns here in the States, American Apparel is expanding to highbrow department store in Europe.

American Apparel and highbrow? Those are two words that don't belong in the same sentence!

UK department store Selfridges plans to carry the overpriced generic clothing at six more stores in the next year and France's Galeries Lafayette is expected to do the same.

There's also a rumor that Bloomingdale's in the US will carry AA as well, but the deal has yet to be finalized.

As for why they're going the department store route, sources say it's "a way for the company to expand its business without spending a lot of capital".
