What The Fitch!? Abercrombie's Selling N****r Pants On Outlet Site

Say whaaa!?

Abercrombie-and-FitchOutlet.com is currently selling a pair of "N***** Brown Pants", but we're having a hard time believing they have any affiliation with the real Abercrombie & Fitch.

Whatever the case may be, it's wrong and disgusting and should be changed if not taken down immediately.

UPDATE!!!!

It seems as though it's not a legitimate branch of Abercrombie & Fitch — it's a knock-off Chinese website with faulty translation.

This is what Snopes.com said:

A Chinese software company, Kingsoft Corp., acknowledged its translation program was at fault. When the Chinese characters for "dark brown" are typed into an older version of its Chinese-English translation software, the offensive description comes up. (The program's 2007 version does not produce that result.) The software had been programmed with terms garnered from a Chinese-English dictionary.

It's not a "hoax" as some people are calling it — because it is an actual website that you can actually buy these pants from. It's a translation error.

Just nobody put it up on purpose.

Abercrombie Vs. The Situation: He Can't Take A Joke!

Abercrombie & Fitch is asking a judge to dismiss The Situation's lawsuit against them because he has no right to do so.

In case you forgot, the Sitch is suing the preppy retailer for infringing on the GTL and the Situation trademarks. But according to A&F, Mike only applied for the trademarks, therefore he doesn't own them.

Abercrombie also points out the "Gym, Tan, Laundry" application was suspended because MTV already owned "Gym, Tanning, Laundry" and the US Patent & Trademark Office thought they were too similar.

AND even without the trademarks, A&F claims their "Fitchuation" and "GTL" tees are still fair game because they are protected under a law that allows parody as part of free speech.
