For lots of $$$!!

If you are super-rich and dream of unwarranted fame then you're in luck!

For this year's amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala, Chanel fashion God Monsieur Karl Lagerfeld and super-producer Harvey Weinstein have masterminded a rather strange auction item…

The duo will transform the highest bidder into an instant celeb by featuring them in a short film styled/directed by Unkle Karl and produced by Weinstein!

Hmm.

So it is true! Anyone with enough cash money can become famous with the right minds behind them, regardless of actual talent!

Fantastic.

Carey Mulligan's custom Prada dress worn to this year's Met Gala has a new closet to call home!

After receiving 35 bids, the dress sold at auction on Saturday for $2950, which is a steal considering it's a custom design worn by a celebrity.

As we mentioned before, the proceeds from Carey's frock will benefit Oxfam, the international relief and development organization.

Congrats to the lucky winner!

Tara Reid's Comeback Dress Hits The Auction Block

Filed Under: Film Flickers Tara Reid Fashion Smashion Inspiration Red Carpet Versace

The only thing we love more than a great fashion comeback, is when rich celebs give to those in need, and Tara Reid is doing just that!

The former fashion disaster's Versace gown worn at the American Reunion premiere will be hitting the eBay auction block, but it ain't gonna be cheap!

The bidding for the autographed gown will start at a discounted bid of $5,000!!

Not bad considering it typically retails for $8,000.

Best of all? All proceeds from the auction (which ends on Tuesday April 10) will benefit American women’s shelters, a cause we can all stand behind!

Keep up the great work Tara, we're loving the new you!
