Blondes Make More Money!

Brace yourselves for a brown haired backlash!

According to a new study, blondes make more money than brunettes!

The study conducted by the journal Economics Letters reports that while they may be dumb, blondes make almost $2,500 more a year.

So why do they make more?

Researchers could only offer this explanation:

"Blonde women are often depicted as being more attractive than other women, but also less intelligent. But it seems the association between blondes and beauty dominates any perception that they have low intelligence."

Just think of it this way dark locked ladies, that extra $2,500 they make a year is probably going toward making their hair that color!

But to add insult to injury, blondes also tend to marry wealthier men.

Olga Uskova, president of the International Blondes Association (yes, really) said:

"Blondes have wealthier husbands because we are more fun and outgoing, and men are more attracted to us. We also do better in the workplace because when we make a mistake we can say, 'Oh, sorry about that, it's because I'm blonde' and get away with it."

Spoken like a true blonde.

Maybe Olga should step away from the peroxide and work on those stereotypes she's perpetuating.
