Freedom of expression vs. cultural respect…
Ah, a timeless debate!
The above image of a woman in full Muslim dress (niquab & abaya) holding up a bra while doing laundry was SO offensive to some students at Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, they asked a staff member to take it down!
The photo was

Vogue Italia's editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani joined supermodel Doutzen Kroes, media mogul Arianna Huffington and Amber Valletta at Harvard University on Monday to talk about body image in the media.
During the discussion, Sozzani, a long-time proponent of healthy body image, flat out blamed fashion as "one of the causes of anorexia".

Seriously!?
Out of all the people in the world, Turkish company Biomen decided to use Hitler to hawk their line of shampoo for men.
In the commercial (above) Hitler can be heard saying:
"If you’re not wearing women’s clothes, you shouldn’t be using women’s shampoo either. Here it is. A real man’s shampoo. Biomen. Real men use Biomen."
Not surprisingly, this isn't sitting well with a lot of people and has prompted a lot of responses condemning the commercial.

Well this was just poor judgement! Unless they just wanted to get people talking, in which case, congratulations! You did it!
FHM Philippines has pulled its original March cover featuring Philippine actress Bela Padilla emerging out of the “shadows,” aka dark-skinned models. Since releasing the photo on their Facebook page this past week, the magazine has experienced a slew of negative feedback.
Even if the “racism” was unintentional, it’s hard not to view this cover as: “black” = bad, “white” = good. Come on! You are calling the darker models “shadows” right on the cover!!
Representatives from the men’s mag have handled the situation surprisingly well releasing this statement:
