Madonna Equals Money For Macy's

Not that we're surprised.

Macy's is laughing all the way to the bank after reporting a sales increase of 7.3% for the month of July and that's before they launched Madonna's Material Girl line.

The department store said they had a "phenomenal launch" on Tuesday, when Madge and Lola's collection became available and the back to school season is "off to a great start."

Does this mean we can expect more Material Girl in the future???

Yesterday, Taylor Momsen arrived in style at the Macy's in Herald Square, to promote Madonna and Lourdes' new clothing line Material Girl.

The clothes maybe Material Girl, but Little J's outfit is totes Express Yourself!

Now, that is a style we can live with!

Madge Talks More About Her Material Girl Muse

Madonna just can't stop talking about her fashion forward daughter and inspiration for behind the upcoming Material Girl line Lourdes Leon.

Her Madgesty gushed to USA Today about Lola's involvement with the new line, saying:

"Since I have a few careers going, I decided that I wasn't going to get into designing this line by myself. No question, Lola seemed the perfect choice. She is really doing most of the work. She shows me things and I go 'that's cool' or 'that's not cool.' We both go to business meetings. We exchange ideas, talk things out and even disagree about some things, though rarely."

And not surprisingly this isn't the first time Lola's helped her mom make big fashion decisions. Madonna adds:

"…she's been to enough photo sessions, video shoots and seen me put my tours together to have developed a great eye. She's also worked in the wardrobe department on some of my tours. I love the way she puts different things together that are sometimes unexpected. She's the fashion police at our house and has a point of view on what everyone is wearing. I'm not saying we agree on everything but we enjoy collaborating together."

She may only be 13, but we have a feeling Madonna's daughter is going to have a big future in fashion.
