Another Look At Madge's Material Girl!

Actual images have been released from Madonna's Material Girl clothing line for Macy's, and from the looks of it the 80s are back!

But don't go thinking the line was inspired by Madonna's most memorable fashion moments. Iconix Brands executive vice president of merch said the collection "is a nod to the original Material Girl look, but Lola [Leon’s nickname] is part and parcel of making it relevant to today."

Madge also added that her muse, Lourdes, was very involved in the process saying "I really like the way Lola dresses, and I think this line is absolutely an extension of her taste."

It's a little bit of vintage Madge mixed with daughter Lourdes' young style.

The line debuts at Macy's in August.

Madonna Inspired By Lourdes

As we mentioned before, Madonna is getting ready to debut her new junior's collection to be sold exclusively at Macy's this summer.

The line, Material Girl, was actually inspired by Madge's daughter, 13-year-old Lourdes.

And in a recent interview, her Madgesty opens up about her collection and her muse.

Says Madge:

"I've used fashion to make statements through my work all my life and now I have a 13-year-old daughter who's obsessed with fashion, so it seems like the natural progression of my life. If you're a Material Girl, you're a girl with a sense of humor.

I trust [Lourdes] because she has great style. We rarely disagree when it comes to clothes, I have to say. That's why most of my closet is being raided on a regular basis."

The line will include apparel, footwear, jewelry, and handbags.

Can't wait to see the collection!
