Hailee Steinfeld's Chic In Santa Barbara

True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld is giving Elle Fanning a run for her money when it comes to red carpet fashion.

Over the weekend the 14 year old made an appearance at the Santa Barbara Film Festival looking chic in a white Alberta Ferretti embroidered dress and red Aldo Rosenthall pumps.

Whoever styles Hailee deserves a round of applause for constantly choosing fun, but age appropriate dresses.

We can't wait to see what she wears to the Oscars.

And The Oscar Goes To: Rodarte???

Kate and Laura Mulleavy may soon be calling themselves Oscar nominees or even better Oscar winners!

The designing sisters of Rodarte are already receiving a lot of Oscar buzz for the 40 tutus they created for Darren Aronofsky's film Black Swan.

Tom Ford Bans Starlets From Wearing His Womenswear

Once his womenswear becomes available, Tom Ford's going to be very selective on which celebs will be allowed to wear it.

He explained to Vogue:

"To put something out that's going to be in a store in six months, and to see it on a starlet, ranked in US magazine next week? My customer doesn't want to wear the same thing she saw on a starlet!"

We like his thinking!

Tom adds he'll be equally as picky when awards season comes around: "I'll wait to see who's nominated for the Oscars. Then I will offer to dress one person."

It makes sense and why not? It's his line and he can do whatever he damn well pleases!

Sam Worthington Is A Hit At Payless

Payless must be very happy with Sam Worthington.

The Avatar star wore some $20 shoes from the discount retailer to the Oscars and they have been selling out ever since.

On hearing the news, Sam said

"That's kind of cool. Now I'm the Payless poster boy. All the tinsel of Tinseltown doesn't really bother me. In regards to my shoes, the ones they gave me made me look like a hob goblin. If J.Lo stood in them, she would've fallen off the stage and ripped her dress. It would've been ridiculous. I went with what was comfortable and that was the closest store."

We like his style!
