Scarlett Johansson is again using her name for charity.
The gorgeous actress has teamed up with lifestyle brand Neff to create beanies for City of Hope.
ScarJo reveals:
I helped create this Neff Beanie with the hope that every purchase might make a cancer patient feel a bit more comfortable during his/her treatments and look cool and be cozy all the while. The beanies are eco friendly too, so they're as nice to the earth as they are to the person wearing them.”
Profits from the eco-friendly, limited edition beanies will go to benefit City of Hope, a leading cancer research, treatment and education center, to help support the fight against cancer.
For every purchase, Neff will donate one beanie to a City of Hope patient or survivor. After 5,000 beanies have been donated, they will donate 10% of each sale giving up to $20,000.
The Neff Hope beanies are being sold on Zappos.com and retail for $25.00 each.

This can’t be real, can it???
Forget spraying on your favorite perfume, now you can simply swallow a pill.
Swallowable Parfum is creating a pill which is said to work with your metabolism to slowly release fragrant smells through your skin when you sweat.
The idea is a creation by Netherlands-based Lucy McCrae and biologist Sheref Mansy. Even more interesting, since each individual has a unique genetic code that means that each person will emit a unique odor through their own perspiration.
For those interested, the pills are still in the research stage so you might have to wait a few years.
Though in the mean time, they've released an ad for the pill. Check it out above and then share your thoughts with us below.

This can’t be right… Who knew the color pink wasn’t that popular?
A recent study published in the Harvard Business Review reveals that the pink ribbons used for Breast Cancer Awareness might not be all that effective simply because of the color.
The color pink is a gender cue which can trigger a "defensive response" among women.
The study reports:
“When women wrote an essay about gender, just 42% of them said they would donate to ovarian cancer research. When they wrote a gender-neutral essay, 77% did. And those who saw a pink ad about breast cancer were significantly less likely to say that they’d contract the disease than those who saw an ad with neutral colors. We thought, “This can’t be right.” So we kept running studies.
We looked at the effects of gender cues on women’s recall. We put breast cancer banner ads on a website we showed the subjects but never mentioned them. When the site was geared to women, 33% of women recalled the ads. When it was gender-neutral, 65% remembered. It’s been three years, and we have duplicated the same basic finding 10 times. It keeps happening.”
Though to be clear, the study found that it’s not the color itself but the fact that the color is a gender cue that triggers the response.
